Bellevue Hotel — Restaurant in Queensland

Came here for mid week Quiz night. Didn't have a meal but saw there were well priced specials every day of the week, so will definitely try the food soon. The open middle room is well air conditioned, with multiple TV screens around, with comfortable seating. The staff are friendly & they had got into the spirit of Halloween with some eye catching decorations for the occasion. It's a little off the beaten track, being a couple of streets back from the Palmer St strip, but...

Whats going on with the Schnitzels? They've shrunk! They get double fried, you can see them sitting in the fryer basket, ready for the refry! Which makes the crumbing hard to cut! Has me worried about food poisoning as well! Then its being served on an icy cold plate!? 🤔 Not sure if its the new chefs idea or new management! Either way it needs to be looked at. This pub had cheap chicken Schnitzels on Monday for 7 dollars Great size, I heard the steak was Amazing so i ordered the rib fillet. I asked the chef what he Recommended. Medium rare is what he said i asked for rare. It was perfection such a great peice of steak, very fast service. The bacon cheese bread was amzing too!!! Cant wait to go back and try other things :-)
