Bayview Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in South Townsville

We recently held a club dinner at the Bayview Bar and Bistro, it was a bit of a last-minute change as we had originally planned to hold a BBQ on the strand due to the size of our group. but due to the unpredictable rain in NQ over the last few weeks we need to find some where dry and able to hold our 40 + Thirsty Hungry players and parents, "Bayview to the Rescue" they were able to fit all of us in comfortably, the service was and atmosphere in there was amazing, with very attentive staff, nothing was too hard including the Suprise birthday cake we arranged. The kids' room to keep the little ones occupied and plenty of delicious options on the menu everyone left full and happy (PS try the salt and pepper calamari you will not be disappointed) We will defiantly be looking to the Bayview in the future for club events, and I will be a frequent visitor to watch some sport on that GIANT TV they have in the main bar.

Dont bother going here. Ordered 2 specials which included drinks & they didnt honour the drinks,they made us pay for them & when questioned they did nothing. On the menu it clearly states..crumbed steak,chips & salad & includes 1 pot of beer or a soft drink. The person that took our food order went straight to the bar & got our drinks & he charged us. Never ever will we step foot in this establishment again as they just blatently rip you off. Steak was ok,salad which was lettuce leaves had a terrible dressing & the chips were cold. Dont...
