A hot day in Kuranda after walking up the hill from the skyrail and this place had lots of fans to cool their customers. Offered a great deal with a fresh beef burger, chips and drink for only $10.50! The burger was the best I’ve had in a while with lots of salad, beetroot and homemade patties. Delicious! A hard working family seem to be running this business and greet you with a warm welcome. Refreshed and fed well.

Food is just so so. Grilled fish barramundi was good my child liked it. Cheesecake could taste better and smoother texture. The old lady there started cleaning and sweeping the floor whilst we were eating. She also turned the lights off when we were still there. She was sorry but did not turn it back on! It was a rainy dark day. Will not go back.

After a long morning hike around Kuranda and to Baron falls, this place satisfied me completely with their 'lot' burger. Incredible value, crispy chips, and a burger with literally everything (others along the strip should take note!). Would recommend.

If you're coeliac or gluten intolerant this cafe should be your first consideration for a meal out. They have signs saying gluten free and the woman that served me (not sure if manager or owner) was lovely and knowledgeable. They were doing all the right things for minimising chances of cross contamination and don't have beer batter or anything like that on the fries. They can make your burgers gluten free too (with the exception of the veggie patty).

There's also some home made gluten free desserts like chocolate brownies and ice cream available (trust me, ice cream is a splendid thing for the heat you can get in Kuranda).

They're on trivago and won the certificate of excellence for 2018. They're pricing is more than reasonable and the staff I met were lovely.

I have no idea why someone would give 1 star for having eftpos available as a convenience unless you were a competitor doing illegal, tax evading, shadey dealings.

I've only been to Kuranda twice. The first time I had Thai food, the second time I went here, if I go to Kuranda again I would definitely go here...

There is a lady that does not deserve her job there she was so rude when i simply asked where an atm was. I asked her if i could ask a quick question and she assumed that i wanted to know where the toilets were (which was not the case at all) she just pointed to the toilets and said the the toilets were over then (very rudely), i was very offended and then when i said that i wanted to know where the closest atm was she started to laugh and the was surprised. she then pointed to the atm and then started laughing and talking rudely to her coworkers. Then i turned around and asked her if she was talking about me and she was still laughing and shrugged and then said "nah" whilst laughing. i then told her that i found her very rude and she said "ok" very sarcastically and then continued to laugh. i am very upset with this lady and do not believe that the lady deserves to be employed...

The short dark skinned waitress/kitchenhand who was not capable of smiling to customers (only staff) was EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL. We were waiting on the food for a very long time and when I said excuse me when she walked by she stopped, stared at me for three seconds (if looks could kill) and then walked away! And kept ignoring us. 15 min later and the food still wasn't ready I walked up and politely asked her how long time it would take and she basically started yelling at me! Telling me to go sit down and that they had already told us it would take a while when we bought the food (?) which they obviously had not. We lost a lot of time sitting around and the salad was way overpriced.. But at least it tasted nice and the lady (manager?) we ordered from was...
