Here's Good Cafe (Frogs on Coondoo) — Restaurant in Queensland

We stopped for coffee and cake so can't comment on the lunch options, but we had mixed opinions about this cafe: Positives - the iced lattes we had were excellent and a decent size. Negatives - the carrot cake was absolutely bone dry (see picture) which for $8 was pretty disappointing, coffees were served in disposable cups despite us eating in, we were accidentally charged for an extra mango smoothie which we hadn't ordered which added $9.50 to our bill (which the server didn't notice, I had to flag it to them). This was a disastrous visit. I ordered a vanilla latte with extra vanilla and was looked at like I had killed the servers dog. She looked confused like this was not something on the menu despite me having asked whether they did syrups and they said said “yes vanilla”. She then proceeded to repeat my order as an iced latte with honey and put it through the till as that too. My friend politely told her that that was not what I had ordered but again she looked very confused and unsure on the situation. My friend also ordered a skinny cappuccino but got a full fat latte. It was so nice to sit in a cafe in Kuranda that felt authentic and a little bit away from the tourist zone.

While we waited for our food we spotted local butterflies and native birds.

Everyone in my group ordered curries which were delicious and clearly made with care. It was a great gluten free option and a hearty meal!

The staff were great, we got there late in the day (thankful for a cafe open after 3pm!) and we weren't made to rush at all.

The name is a little bit confusing, is it Here's Good or Frogs on Coondoo?

The menu has also been recently updated so some on maps aren't correct (fewer gf options...
