Several years ago we stopped visiting this poor excuse for a fast-food joint (this location in all honesty cant be described as a restaurant) due to rubbish food (half cooked nuggets & chips, mush burgers, every order missing one or more items…..). That said, an inopportune event lead to my ordering delivery. Despite the mt sheridan venue being able to disable items that are not available on the same platform - it seems these clowns simply cant handle that.
My large mush-burger meal was made on a bun that would be perfect for use as a hockey puck, and was missing the added (at my cost) angry onions (and in fact had half of the regular qty)…. Rather than using the app functionality to offer a replacement to the shake that apparently was not available (or as above mark it as not available), I was just sent a vanilla coke. Ive not known anybody since 1999 that actually liked vanilla coke (other than perhaps albo, which explains a lot - similar political motivations would also explain what happened to the cost difference). In all the only even potentially edible item in the order was the half-cooked, flaccid excuse for chips - and lets face it, HJ’s chips suck at the absolute best of times.
It seems I need to take more care to continue avoiding this muck-hut - even on alternate ordering platforms.
If your looking for fast food, regardless of your dine-in, take away, delivery or even political aspirations, you are best served to widely avoid...
Read moreI just got off to a manager by the name of Peter. I ordered 2 burgers to get delivered which cost $35.65. I have uploaded a picture of the order and when I rang to find out what's going on with the order, he laughed in my face and said and I quote "Not our problem". He kept questioned me who was it through...I kept saying it was through the Hungry Jacks app and it doesn't show me who was meant to be delivering it ( Not that it should be my problem). I did say to "Peter" which refused to give me his surname so I can go in and explain what happened the following day to the manager on duty. At the end of the day...I went through the Hungry Jacks app for delivery and it never did arrive. I rang to erectify the issue and "Peter" refused to help me what so ever after getting payment. He also told me if I wanted a refund...I had to go into Hungry Jacks myself. I did say no worries...I will come in now and get my refund. He laughed at me again and said.."We are closed and there is nothing that can be done"....if I could give this negative stars i would because of the way I was disrespected and honestly felt low. I will be going to this establishment tomorrow to talk to a team member and also wanting to engage with the franchise owner on how his management team deals with issues. Once again...please note on the time and the delivery time it was meant to arrive to my place and what time it is now. And that explains...
Read moreWORST SERVICE EVER. Waited 10 minutes in the drive-thru, with not 1 car moving. My car was 7th in line. Luckily no other cars came in after 10 minutes, so I backed out & parked. Went inside the store & queued up behind 3 other people waiting to order, and several people waiting for their food. After 5 minutes of no one getting served, & no one getting their food, the 3 people in the order queue walked out. When a staff member finally came up to the counter to take my order, I told her that she had just lost 3 customers who had walked out because they weren't served. I may as well have told a brick wall - a blank stare, no explanation, no apology for the poor service. I gave my order, & asked how long it would take, and was told about 10 minutes. I told her to forget it, and also walked out. Waiting 25 minutes for fast food? I don't think so. What a joke. I'll be telling this story to my friends, and be advising them to avoid the place. Perhaps with less people going there, the service might improve...? This place needs STAFF TRAINING, and most especially in how to be civil and polite to customers. I wish I could give it a negative...
