This little treasure is to be found in the IGA complex on Gavin street. We almost didn't find it but we're SO glad we did. It's very modest on the outside but please, please, don't let this stop you going inside. We had the "All you can eat" buffet. Starting with the best sushi we've ever eaten. Everything from soft shell crab and fresh salmon, to spicy pork and honey soy chicken. Then shabu shabu, a soy based soup into which you put your own choice of ingredients....pork, beef, chicken, seafood, noodles and an array of fresh vegetables.... it was absolutely delicious. But wait, there's more.....moving onto the selection of hot food, everything you wish for from dim sum and pancake rolls to Japanese curry and teriyaki chicken. The staff were so helpful, taking time to explain what everything was and how it all works together. Kevin, the boss, is a delight..explaining the origins of parts of the menu, not to mention being an absolute wizard in the kitchen!! A thoroughly fabulous experience. Make...
Read moreOur last night in bundy and we decided to go out for dinner. We have found kevins eat all you want sushi buffet. U get 1 hour to eat for $39 which is fine if of course there is food. As u can see by the photos we had to wait for food to come out they did say they would extend by half hour which didnt matter if no food came out. Also the chef was filming my Sister while she puts her password in the eftpos machine. I paid by cash and they couldnt even supply me wirh a reciept. There was about 20 of people dinning and about 6 slices of sushi came out at once then had to wait for ever for another to come out. As people can make up there own mind about the place however i would never return to kevins and i have only given 1 cause cant give less.
Anyone who would like to contact me about more info on how shocking kevins resturant is feel free to as there is so much...

It was brilliant - stir fried fish cakes, rice cakes, spring onion then simmered in a chilli bean paste based broth with noodles. All the components were made fresh by Kevin.
A fantastic experience and worth trying great dishes you've likely never had before. I should add that portion size is very generous and pricing is...
