My Wife and i just went for a late lunch at grilled, The food was good although the experience was a let down due to staff errors, The lady serving could have been a little more friendly & fogot to give my wife her drink, my wife had to prompt the lady for the drink as she had clearly forgot. It was not busy there was only approximately 16 customers in total, although when my burger came out the lady was asking customers who had ordered the burger that i had ordered, We did give the table number when we ordered, also my burger came out about 5 minutes before my wifes, this made me feel bad about eating while my wife had to wait, then when my wifes buger finally arrived once again the lady walked passed our table looking for who had ordered the burger, i had to yell yes that is ours once again, then we had to ask where our chips were they were bought to the table last...Then my wife noticed that she had ordered the panini bun although received the normal bun, Then when the staff member came to ask how was our meals? My wife stated she had got the wrong bun but had ate it just to save waiting any longer... The staff member simply said thanks for the feed back and walked away... There was no offer of anything to make my wife feel better about there mistake... Tried to get the ‘teenagers who bring the food to tables’ to come to our table. Could t get their attention to bring us cutlery after food arrived, All three had their backs to us and were looking over the counter and chatting to the chefs. In the end another customer who was leaving tapped one of them on should to point us out! I also asked for them to bring another bottle of water. They did but no smile, nor courteous comment. Read moreBeen a customer for years but when my friend and I went in today to the Shellharbour store we were greeted by a lovely bloke who when I asked his name as we were leaving said it was Josh, a tall guy with an awesome beard and spectacular attitude. My friend and I couldn’t stop talking about how absolutely lovely and happy to help us he was, I don’t think I’ve EVER had better service anywhere else, the food is great but he alone made us both want to eat in more often, promote him, give him a raise or something because that guy is going to bring the customers back, your restaurant is in great hands and he NEEDS to be rewarded for that.
