South Beach Cafe — Restaurant in South Fremantle

Lovely relaxing cafe to just "chill".

Nice coffee, beautiful antique looking stainless steel tea pots, a wide variety of food, reasonably priced. My go to, is a freshly made generous salad sandwich.

Indoor or outdoor seating.

Service is quick and staff have been very pleasant.

Very close to a beautiful beach, white sand, shady pine trees and lush green lawn.

P.S. Very disappointed today, when I went to the counter and asked for my pot of tea to be top up with hot water, I was told in future I will be charged as if I was having another pot of tea.

I overheard a middle aged lady with long black hair tell the pleasant young girl who was doing it. I confirmed with the young girl that I heard right.

I like my black tea to start off strong, then get weaker. Elsewhere, it's always very graciously topped up. I don't have milk or sugar.

It's left a "sour taste"...

I’ve been going to SBC for a long time. I have always been treated with the utmost respect. All food I’ve eaten there is lovely. The coffee is awesome. Today I witnessed a most disrespectful customer and all of the attendees treated him with the utmost respect. They were kind and patient with this customer who, was indignant , aggressive and disrespectful to the staff. I might add without cause. I am convinced that the customer , who was trying to aggravate the people working there. I have always been treated with kindness and respect.This is the case for all customers in my experience. The atmosphere of this cafe is inclusive and kind. Did I mention their food is awesome! A big shout out to all who work there and completely recommend you try this cafe out! Spectacular service and food....

My wife and I went to this cafe Thought was wonderful and the food was great, The only real problem and reason that we never gave it five stars is that in this cafe is one Lebanese man with a cap that never smiles who seems to think that it is OK to talk to the customers and especially the children like he was something that he scraped of the bottom of his shoes. He talked to our well behave grandson harshly saying that he could not stand near his grandmother in line to make space for other customers that was not even there. There were no other customers waiting and as our grandson is very little he was scared holding onto his nana"s leg. Everytime we come to this cafe we witnessed him always being very rude.
