100% must try if you are a tourist, one of the best Italian restaurant I have been to in years. Lets talk about why it is good: 1. Fast and good customer service, the service staff makes the place homely and very welcoming. 2. The food is awesome, very verryyyy tasty, its good trust me. Personally I went there twice and tried a variety of stuff but not the full menu, coming from that perspective I would recommend the Carbonara (21 AUD if i remember correctly) the star of the show, Mushroom soup (14.50 AUD), White cream sauce pizza with prosciutto and truffle oil dressing (28 AUD), Calamari (37.50 AUD) and Rose squid ink pasta ( rose sauce is the combination of the tomato and white cream sauce, it was the first time I was trying it and it was kinda cool and interesting). 3. The interior of the restaurant was interesting with Italian signage around the restaurant and the place was buzzing with people swarming in during the dinner rush. 4. The desserts are to die for especially the Tiramisu, the best I have ever eaten. The other dessert I would recommend would be the Chocolate Hazelnut Triangle, it was delicious it reminded me of like nutella for some reason. Now comes the cons of this place: The waiting time was long about a 45 minutes wait for both times I was there, that is why going with a group of people would be better because you could kill time by having conversations with friends and you could try more food at one sitting. The price is average not too expensive in my opinion for a restaurant in Perth Australia. The second thing would be the remoteness of the place considering the fact that I was a tourist, I had no car to drive there. It was like 30 minutes bus ride I remember if you took 32 from Perth station and it stops outside the restaurant but after a time you could only take like 34 back to like Mandurah Station and the walk to the 34 bus stop was like 1 km plus, its good that after a scrumptious meal you could walk off the calories you intake I guess. To be honest this place was still totally worth it even after the cons, if I ever Perth again I would definitely visit this restaurant again. I would rate this place a 10/10 and it definitely receives my stamp of approval. If you ever visit Perth, don't forget to visit this place. Ps, I told the guy in the picture I would review this place but according to my Sherlock detective skill I have a feeling he is like the owner's son (IM just guessing, Im not sure). This place is legendary like barney would say. Ouh yea just to add the mussels was alright, just remember to stir the bottom sauce up so you get like the a equal sauce to mussel ratio, food science boy. Okay thanks for reading it till the end, just visit this place when you go Perth trust me :)

I am heartbroken as this place was my favourite place over the past almost 9 years💔. We have always been happy in the past and the staff were always friendly and helpful. But this time, both our pizzas were not as its best as usual, but also the bad service we have received is new to us. At first, after ordering a coke zero, the section waiter gave us a coke and rushed away. Even though we were going to tell him it was the wrong drink, he was already gone. As we were sitting next to the fridge, we swapped the drink ourselves. After our two pizzas arrived, we ate two peaces and waited until someone came around to check on us, but no one came to check on our meal. We were placed in a spot right close to the toilets, which in all these years we never were seated. As some staff were polishing the cutlery, we waved her down and mentioned that both our pizzas were undercooked in the middle, and both had not much tomato sauce on it, especially on my margherita pizza was no tomato sauce in the middle at all and tasted just like gooey cheese bread. Both pizzas were very uneventful. She only mentioned that the feedback would be past to the chef but did not offer anything. She was polite but showed little interest. She could have taken both pizzas away and replaced them for a new one or something, but nothing happened. Then we just finished our pizzas as no one resolved our issue, and we had no further time to wait due to an appointment. After another staff member cleared then the table, she asked how everything was, and we said that we were for the very first time in almost 9 years unhappy with the food and the non care we have received during our dining experience. Usually, I would not write a review, but the lack of care we have received on the night was a no-go to us. I do miss the older charming owner, which he always cared about his customers' happiness. Now, our feeling is that this place is only care about making money and not caring about the rest, a truly shame. We recommend this place to everyone we have known in the past, and this is a letdown to us. Also, a bad effect on me is a negative review below being handled very poorly about the guest found a hair in the food, not everyone has time to wait for a new meal and maybe he felt uncomfortable about the whole situation too. You could offer a free meal by his next visit. But instead, you made it even worse, and the people he knows they will stay away from you. And so on. Coming from a hospitality background, that reply should be reviewed and rewritten for your own good. I hope my report/feedback will find the right hand that does care and act on customer satisfaction....

UPDATE: See the owner’s response to my food poisoning at his restaurant. He claims I am faking it and lying about getting sick after eating there, all because I had to wait for a table? If I was that upset I would have left. What a tiny, tiny man! Get a life! All you had to do was reply, “sorry you aren’t feeling well, please give us a call.” You have a customer who is genuinely ill and you accuse them of lying??? Unbelievable! I couldn’t care less about waiting an hour and 10minutes for a table. I waited didn’t I? And I deescalated the situation when your worker ran out side and loudly told my party to tell me to calm down. I was the calmest I have ever been in a situation like that. Very calm! All while dealing with a “soup nazi” type of situation where it is forbidden to question anything or to ask questions like “how much longer until our table is ready”. In a calm and reasonable voice. Your reaction to my food poisoning is showing the world just how proud and arrogant of a man you really are. There is a saying you need to understand that will come into play for you and your business, “what so ever you sow you shall reap”. I suggest you start to humble yourself sir!

Original Review: WARNING!!! I got food poisoning after dining here last night. Trying to reach out to the owners of the restaurant about this. I was the only member of our party to order the meal I ate. Started feeling queasy on the way home. Went to bed at 11pm and then spent the next several hours on the toilet. Finally threw up around 5am…rough night and still not out of the woods yet!

Response from the owner Hi Mark, What you are doing is very wrong, all of this because you had to wait a long time for a table , as you could see we vere very busy and still you came and give myself and my staff hard time,on top of that you have embarrassed yourself your wife and a very good friend of ours and her husband, so please Stop! We do work hard and I don’t accept people lying...
