I recently discovered Rick's on 6th, a brand new bakery shop in Sunshine Coast, and I have to say, it's quickly become one of my favourite spots. Sadly, our neighbouring massage shop is closing down, but since Rick's opened, we've been getting food from them regularly.
My personal favourite is the baguette with turkey and cranberry - it's absolutely delicious. The lime key tart is also amazing and a must-try. Everything here is so fresh and made daily, which really adds to the quality of the food. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal.
In addition to the fantastic food, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They really make you feel at home and go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. And if you're a coffee lover, you won't be disappointed - their coffee is great too.
Another plus is that Rick's is located super close to the beach, making it a convenient spot to stop by for a bite to eat on your way to or from the beach.
Overall, I highly recommend Rick's on 6th for its delicious food, friendly staff, and convenient location. It's definitely worth...
Read moreI dont usually write reviews but the pies were so terrible and filled with much mush rather than meat taht I had to warn others. The dough was so thick that I couldnt even scoop out the muck to eat that alone? Not to mention the ridiculous cost of 4 pies at $34.00 (angus beef pie, mince pie and feta flat bread?). The cakes are alright for bought in pastries but all in all it was very expensive and very disappointing. do not recommend.
Further to my review. The owner has got back to me with the expected RUDE response to truthful criticism? I did not have a bad day......until I got home to eat 3 Angus beef pies with very little meat and a thick tasteless gravy? I was so disappointed as Ricks was highly recommended. All three of my group were in agreement! Its a pity your EGO is bigger than your foods taste. People will vote with their feet not with a review. You should look into those pies before you attack me for my honesty. You have a great...
Read moreA colleague told me about Rick’s on 6th and it’s taken about a year for me to come and see the place for myself. Wow, I really should have come earlier. A beautiful pastry cafe that has a constant stream of customers either ordering takeaway or dine in. Ample seating and we were able to get a table quickly. Ordering and pick up is seamless with three point of services and a seperate hatch for coffee pick ups. Food is delivered upon ordering and you’re given a buzzer for coffees. Drinks are made quickly by a dedicated barista. We chose the custard cruffin and chocolate almond croissant. Both had flaky crispy buttery pastry for a melt in the mouth experience. Lattes were well brewed and served hot. I can see why this is the best pastry place on the coast. I was keen to try the Dubai croissant but...
