Now my second favourite cocktail bar in QLD and my first favourite on the Sunny Coast. All the original cocktails have clever names which appeals to me almost as much as drinking cocktails in the first place. As well as being wittingly named, the drinks are also delicious AND pretty. 3/3. Perfect score. They do do classics. I think I've become accustomed to liking classics the way that I make them for myself. It's probably my biggest flaw as a person. Is my way better or worse than the recipe of an actual professional qualified bartender or mixologist? Who's to say really. I'm just used to some drinks how I make them and anything else just doesn't feel right. I say that to say; if you like your classics any particular way, maybe stick to the menu. Make yourself a martini at home any time and any way you like. Make it wet, dry, dirty clean, with olives or with a twist, maybe even both - make it on vodka for all I care (okay that's a joke, don't do that) my point is, try something different and original while you're here, they're VERY good at what they do.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "What an incredible experience at Watt Den! We attended a cocktail masterclass, and it was absolutely fantastic. Dean, the owner, made us feel so welcome, and Bree, our talented mixologist, crafted the most amazing drinks. We tried a Bellini, a mint slice shot, a coconut margarita, a drink called 'If You're Not Into Yoga,' and a Sunday Morning. Each cocktail was delicious, and Bree's storytelling throughout the class really elevated the entire experience. The atmosphere was fun, engaging, and perfect for our group. We’ll definitely be back for more! Highly recommended!"

Wow. What a shocker. Ordered some cocktails and after 40 minutes, not a single word from staff. Another couple arrive and have all of their drinks (within 5 minutes) and we are put down by staff as we are walking out the door, whilst the staff are taking orders of other people who sit in our seats. Yes - we are hospitality professionals, who understand the cringe of these reviews. Have been recommend to come here by a multitude of other professionals and it’s hospitality night. We don’t EVER talk down about others. But. This place was beyond a shock and disappointment. Even the guests around us were at a shock as they got our drinks before us. Our absolute apologies that we were recommended here. Another project that won’t last long. Recommendation - get some staff who are keen to engage and have some customer engagement skills. Want some help? Hit me up. Sorry...

Interesting. No one mentions the chairs in their reviews.

Look. Having quite a few well-curated bottles of alcohol on the shelf is all well and good...but you'll only drink a few so that's not too relevant to your personal experience. Mixing cocktails with the precision of a chemist and an obsessive attention to detail... I suppose that's pretty good as well if you're ordering cocktails but if whiskey or tequila taste better because of the expertise they're poured with, then my connoisseurship needs a bit of improvement. So that's also a bit less than relevant.

Somebody did some choosing and spent some money on these fine chairs though, and you're going to be sitting in those all night. The drinks are good. The ambience is good. They nailed it. I just really...
