I’ve been coming to Alcatraz for years to enjoy their incredible Sultry and Sample live jazz nights, so it was the perfect choice for my 35th birthday on August 9th. The owner was unbelievably accommodating with all my weird and wonderful ideas, and the staff on the night were nothing short of amazing. The venue is kitted out with fantastic sound and music equipment, has plenty of parking right outside for guests, and those funky, unique interiors make it a one-of-a-kind spot in Sydney. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate – 5 stars all the way!

Nice venue, good sound system, friendly stuff but they have to improve the bar servicing as they over charge drinks, little glasses full of ice, drinks made with jam or anything similar they find on the way, serving hot beer and drinks finish much earlier than the end of the party. Got there twice and pretty much the same on both gigs. Will think twice...

First Time visiting lastnight and I must say what an amazing venue! Soo refreshing to pull up to a place and the securities genuinely make you feel welcome. Music was fire, Bartenders top notch and the security guards Travis and The beautiful Prince from Africa yall are absolute Legends !
