Unsure what the bad reviews are about, this place is phenomenal.

We come here for our regular restock of bread loafs and rolls, and have always been greeted by the loveliest staff. Everyone here is phenomenal to deal with. Kind, patient, and friendly. It is truly rare to see customer service like this still be around.

Bread has always been super fresh, but we always show up first thing in the morning. I’ve seen other reviews complain about stale bread but I can say we’ve never had this issue. Bread is top notch and costs the same amount as mid-tier woolies bread.

I am absolutely SICK of going here on a Sunday and getting stale rolls that go rock solid overnight. 5 Sundays in a row it has taken me to write this review and learn a lesson. And the pushy staff there always try and make me buy double. "2 rolls please" - "How about 4?". I don't want to get made to feel awkward because I buy what I need, so it doesn't go off. But I guess you've solved that problem by making sure it is already stale.

I'm coming in one last time on Sunday. And if you sell me stale bread again, I'm going to throw it at you.

I was just at Bakers Delight in Marrickville Metro and asked for 3 loaves of bread sliced.

The shop assist started packing them unsliced and I asked again to have them sliced. She sliced the following two loaves but refused to cut the third as ‘I didn’t ask in time.’ She then raised her voice, in front of the manager and many customers without concern.

Having reached out to the owner, I was told he looked into it and it was resolved, whatever that means.
