I saw advertised a $6 breakfast, 2 Eggs, 2 Rashers of bacon, Beans and 2 slices of toast. Well how disappointing was it to find on my plate1 rasher of bacon cut in 2 pieces. I brought this up with the staff and was told what do you expect for $6 I can't afford to give 2 rashers. Then I was abused called a cheapskate and told to F*@k back to my own country I am an Australian citizen. Well sir I expect what is advertised! I wouldn't be happy if I ordered 2 pizzas only to find I have 2 halves. This is misleading advertising and I wonder how long you have been duping your customers. Why not charge $7 and give people what you are advertising?
(Added after the owners response) The owner has stated in his reply I was given a refund this is true (I asked for the refund it's $9 because I had a coffee) he states I ate the breakfast and drank the coffee this is not true. He also states he offered me more bacon this too is not true. I was called a cheapskate and told to f*@k off. Had I been offered more bacon (even for $1) I would have left happy and probably returned the following day. Would I pay $7 for the breakfast that is advertised yes of course (this is still a good deal). However the sign says $6 breakfast. 2 eggs, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 toast and beans. My point is you can not then give 1 rasher cut into 2 pieces, if this is the case why not offer 4 slices of toast (2 whole slices cut in half). As I stated earlier you should either charge more and give what you offer or change the sign. To say this is the best deal in Australia is a bold statement as they are not the only cafe offering $6 breakfasts. However I will leave you to make up your own minds but please don't be mislead and stand up for what is right. To sum up they are deliberately misleading customers and when questioned about there actions become...
Read moreI am employed by the US Navy and I have the opportunity to travel to many locations. In my travels, I often have difficulty finding a place to obtain good food with good service at a convent time. Fortunately, during my recent stay at the Kings Cross Holiday Inn, I happened upon and excellent little café within easy walking distance to my hotel. Opening for breakfast at 5AM and having a menu of fresh breakfast favorites - I found the Omelets, French Toast and Healthy Breakfast choices to be exceptional. In addition to the excellent freshly prepared food, the excellent service was an unexpected comfort that I do not always experience in my travels. A consistently excellent breakfast served by the proprietor, Rashed, at a time that suited my schedule, really helped to move my day forward and will be a lasting positive memory of my trip to Sydney. In addition to a daily breakfast, I had the opportunity to enjoy the Chicken Curry - which was on par with the best I have ever had. I highly...
Read moreStumbled across this cafe, as we were staying in the hotel around the corner. We had a party of 9, 6 adults and 3 children. The owner accommodated us by moving tables and chairs so we could all sit together outside. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and assisted in making changes to the children’s needs. Coffee and fresh juices were lovely. Breakfasts cooked fresh and tasted lovely. Great value for money. We went back the next morning, Would highly recommend and we will be back when we are in Sydney again. Our family from NZ loved it there. Sometimes it’s the little touches from the owners that mean the...
