I attended this cafe yesterday for lunch with my family. The seafood basket was from the freezer (not fresh as expected), the salad was thrown on the plate in a heap and looked unapetitising. I asked for well done eggs with my meal and they came back runny, but overcooked on the edges, accompanied by burnt bacon. My grand-daughter's pizza consisted of tomato paste & melted cheese on turkish bread smothered in giant size pieces of pineapple. None of us ate our meal. I told the manager the quality was appalling and asked her to come to our table to check the how the meals were presented. She took $33 off the price of the bill even though the tea was the only thing that was consumable. We left the meals behind us after only taking a couple of bites each. Added to this the waitress was very disinterested and uncooperative when taking our order. I asked what I could have on the menu that was gluten free and she looked puzzled and couldn't tell me. I asked if she could please ask the chef, which she did on my insistence. This restaurant needs to lift their service and quality of food. My husband went in while he waited for me too collect some shopping, he was drawn in by the lunch special black board saying chicken snitzel with chips and salad $8.90. The waitress checked the sign and then carried on. He Made the order and bought a as described fresh pineapple juice. Then what looked like the owner checked the special board with his order dicket in Hand. My husband new something was up.

10 mins later out came the meal.... of heaps of chips and this tiny snitzel the size of two maybe three chicken nuggets no salad.

He sent the meal back saying he essential paying for it and just wanted the drink. The owner came over trying the size of the meal was consistent with his much higher priced meals and there were heaps of chips !! What did he expect.

My husband got angry and said he was taking advantage and it wasn't good business in certain words.

I know retail and if your going to put a special up make sure it's good and you will get return business, don't try to rip them off it hence this bad review!!
