Hi, I’ve visited the restaurant at Castle Hill Shopping Centre twice now. I’ve worked in hospitality a long time myself and while I was waiting for my meals. I seen a few things that flagged my attention, this is just my opinion but I wanted to share with yourselves and do fit as you wish. *I noticed no one is wearing hair nets or any protection covering their hair stopping it going in any food items. One lady had a clip in which was very loose and hair was being swept around as one order after another was completed. *Some Staff are wearing gloves but aren’t changing them when the touch their faces or do other tasks. I seen one male staff member looking inside a burger to check an item to then going to the register to help to return to wrapping the burgers. This can be very dangerous if you are dealing with allergies or intolerance to food. This is Food Safety. *They have a big plastic container filled with chips (not a big night when I was there) left with no lid on and not in a freezer, if you’re chips are frozen before cooking should oh don’t they be kept in a freezer to ensure freshness and not left on a side in room temperature and no lid from any harmful products or insects. *Had staff too interested chatting between themselves/singing then acknowledging customers and almost throwing the meals at customers.
I must say this how it was on both occasions. Last night 18th August I would politely suggest more training even the Shift Leader on shift if it was the lady in the hairclip handing meals to customers. This isn’t the service I would expect for a...
Read moreI really don’t understand the reviews for this place. You pay four times the price for: No table service Staff just as apathetic as any fast food restaurant. onion rings with barely any onion. the most horrible chips I’ve ever tasted, no words, disgusting. $5 for what is a small chips anywhere else. burgers as greasy as the worst fast food, and less flavour. no plates. You get a single tray with all the food for the whole family, because environment or something. If they cared about the environment they would use plates instead of cardboard. post mix coke for $5. $5 should get you real coke.
Pretentious, overly priced, god awful food.
The owner seems to respond to reviews saying they try for good service, or they are disappointed to hear the feedback. But my feedback appears no different the other negative reviews. They obviously do not care and are lying.
The product and service offered is objectively horrible and inferior to a fast food restaurant. If they actually cared they would offer table service for this price, at a bare minimum, and atleast take a few extra seconds to drain the excess fat from the patty, and cook fresh chips.
The only reason you would eat here is if you felt like fast food, and you are the sort of pretentious and vain person that wouldn’t want to be seen at any other fast...
Read moreToday I ordered for the 1st time as I have heard lot about Betty's Burger. It was a take away order in which I ordered one crispy chicken burger with no tomato and one spicy chicken burger with no bacon (as I have read reviews that they do add bacon in their chicken burger) however to my surprise both our order came with tomato and other with bacon as I do not eat bacon at all so I had to throw away the burger as I did not wanted to go back to reorder or return. You guys need to pay attention to detail when customer is ordering food as this might be dangerous for people with allergies. Also the taste was average and not worth the price. Never going back to Betty's Burger ever.
And now one of the so called member from Betty's Burger management will reply back saying we are sorry for the inconvenience caused and we will try to improve and blah blah a whole lot a template to get in touch with them to improve the experience (which clearly they haven't improved) . However you had already ruined the dinner and mood so who cares. But atleast others will get alert when they even think ordering. Which I didn't do even after reading the bad reviews as I thought of giving a try which I am regretting now.
McDonald's does better job...
