the missus asked me what we should eat after we finished the spit to manly walk, which is usually a question that yields endless debates and back and forth “idk, what do you want” but this time inspiration struck me like a bolt of zeus’s lightning…. I ordered a large bowl and when I went to pay for it my card was declined. No dramas I thought, I have cash…but they didn’t have the correct change. That’s cool they said (after after some thought) “pay the balance ($1:50) next time you’re in.” Problem is, instead of giving me what I asked for they blatantly pro rata’d the serving leaving me hungry and a bit disappointed. I questioned the size of the serving and they told me it was a large bowl. The thing is I’ve been there a few times and know exactly the difference in serving sizes.
