Charcoal chicken — Restaurant in Sydney

I had an extremely Horrible experience at this shop with an employee on Saturday afternoon, an Indian lady whom served me was utterly ignorant or did not understand a word I had said. I told her repeatedly not to put chicken salt on my order of large chips as my daughter is allergic to chicken salt, she however ignored my request and proceeded to do so. I told her I can't have the large chips that has chicken salt, bit she handed them to me and didn't bother to ask if I wanted a new batch of chips, so I had to throw out the chips she gave me and walked out...

Thank you for your speedy reply, I appreciate the offer for a refund, but it is not necessary, I don't understand as to why the trainee is working in the front of house serving customers, when she doesn't understand English very well or not at all. If I had not noticed that she had put chicken salt in the chips, the outcome for my daughter could have been serious. I find this to be the sole reason to justify my rating for your establishment, I do not have any qualms about the food, j u st poor service from one...

Saw a wheelchair-bound dad and his kid on his lap go in and order chips... Or at least leave with them. Less than 5 mins later, they were back. The young boy was howling with years because he'd dropped nearly all of his chips on the pavement. The chip shop charged them another $5 to replace it - for some reason it was more important for them to make a second $4.50 in profit than chuck 40 cents of chips in 10 cents of oil. By my count 4 staff members chose this path without flinching - maybe I'm getting old but I'm taking my business elsewhere if a place is going to so obviously put profits before people. Hopefully the guy goes somewhere else now too... as it is the 1/3rd of the chips are always undercooked, and if you ask for them a bit more done they come out crunchy as dry cornflakes.

Time for this lady to move my orders to the Hub...

My partner and I get our dinner from here every week and I can't speak highly enough of them, the shop itself is beautiful and clean, the service is friendly and quick but most importantly, their chicken and their chips are INCREDIBLE - absolute perfection every single time. We can't get enough.

I am a huge advocate against food wastage, and whenever we're around before the shop closes they insist on loading containers with leftover food for us to take home after we've already ordered, this goes an extremely long way as low-income earners who typically eat quite sparingly so we can save money. Even then, what they're charging for what they make is already amazing value for money.

Supporting local businesses is extremely important to us right now, but being able to support a place like this? That feels like...
