Dear Charmhor Owner
I’m writing this review because I was so disappointed how the chef behaved. First of all, I always support this your restaurant and I really love your food especially Boat Noodles soup. I know I was very drunk and you guys have right to decide not to serve me. But you guys did.
I ordered a bow of noodles soup. I knew I was feeling uncomfortable and I went the toilet, after I got off from the toilet, the chef kept asking me with uncomfortable questions ‘where do I work’ ‘who is your boss’ ‘I want to tell them how nasty you are’ and they laughed in front of me!!!. Yes I was drunk.
But do you think you could accept these questions if you were me? I was so so surprised how they care about my business. I’m working in the same in industry I know how your feel when you have you deal with intoxication customers. Anyway, I didn’t do any nasty stuff like vomiting on the floor or made their toilet dirty, I know how to control myself.
If you think I’m too drunk please don’t hesitate to ask me to leave your restaurant straight away. I would happily leave your restaurant with no doubt.
Guys I’m so disappointed and sad how the service was. I’m sorry if I did anything bad at your restaurant. Hope you guys will improve and emphatically to your customers and not involve in to their business.
It was unexpected behaviour and I don’t need any...
Read moreYesterday, I visited Charmhor in Haymarket and ordered a small bowl of Yen Ta Fo along with a side of fried beef balls. The overall experience was flavorful and authentic—just what I was hoping for.
The Yen Ta Fo came with a beautifully pink, tangy broth that had a nice balance of sweet, sour, and umami flavors. The noodles were cooked just right, and the toppings were fresh and well-portioned. I particularly appreciated the variety of textures in the bowl, from the soft tofu and seafood to the crunchy vegetables. Although it was a small portion, it was satisfying and perfect for a light meal.
The fried beef balls were delicious—crispy on the outside with a juicy, savory center. They had a deep, rich flavor that paired perfectly with the chili dipping sauce provided. A great side dish that added some bite to the meal.
Charmhor offers a genuine taste of Thai street food in the heart of Sydney. The atmosphere is casual, the service is quick, and the food hits the spot. I’ll definitely be back to explore more...
Read moreCame here for late dinner and we got a table without any wait. The server attended to us in a polite way though they were with limited English capability.
They have a vast variety of dishes on the menu and we went for the hotpot as the weather was cold. We ordered chicken wings and beef boat noodles as well.
My favorite would be the chicken wings and beef boat noodles. Chicken wings were cooked to perfection and each of them was juicy and flavorful with crispy texture.
I loved the broth of the beef boat noodles, which made the ingredients and noodles flavorsome in every bit. The noodles were smooth and silky. I just couldn’t get enough of it as the portion was tiny.
The ingredients for the hotpot came in a decent portion, which tasted delicious with the soup in the hotpot. I enjoyed every bit of it. They were generous with the sauces that came with the hotpot too.
Overall I enjoyed the dining experience and would love to come back again to try other items...
