This is my second time ordering a takeaway from here. I thought your restaurant has improved but still not. Yes, I still have a bad experience like the last time.
First of all, the food looks nothing like the picture! Both the first time and the last time. I paid a higher price for the food through Uber than ordering at the place. But that is the policy I can’t say anything about that. However, I’ve noticed that the food of dine-in customers is presented better. They have more meat, and ingredients and look exactly like the restaurant’s menu.
But mine looks nothing like that! But I paid the same, don’t get me wrong I’ve ordered through Uber a lot and I’ve never met any restaurant like this!
Is it because I’m a takeaway customer so you guys DON’T PUT EFFORT INTO MY FOOD??? I’m also a customer so it is not fair to serve me food like this??? I paid the same price, so at least put in some effort?? I didn’t expect it to be served on a plate or well-decorated. But look at these pictures. Do you guys think it looks the same?
What are these small and thin pieces of meat, and where is my egg?
I still rated your restaurant 5 stars on Uber because that what I usually do after receiving arrival’s notification. I don’t want to rate any restaurant 1 star but look at these photo???? and if only I could know the food looks this bad I would have never rated 5 stars on Uber.
Again, don’t apologise if you guys wouldn’t do anything about it. You guys put a lot of effort into advertising but didn't put any...
Read moreThis is not your average chicken rice.
Khao Man Kai’s take on Thai-style chicken rice feels like a masterclass in subtle chaos—a dish that wears its roots with pride but adds a spicy twist that punches you right in the mouth.
You’ve got the fermented soybean & chilli, dark soy, and green chilli dipping sauces sitting there like a trio of accomplices, just waiting to change the way you think about this humble classic.
And the Thai’s, well, they bring their heat the way they always do—bold, unapologetic, like they’ve got something to prove. You could get lost in the balancing act of dipping and mixing, finding just the right level of fire with each bite.
But, honestly? The chicken doesn’t need it. It stands on its own, steamed to a tender perfection that’s damn near meditative, paired with fragrant rice and a soup so delicate you might start believing in the power of simplicity again.
The condiments, wisely served on the side, let you control your destiny. Adjust the heat, tweak the flavour, and make every bite yours. But even stripped down to its basics, this is chicken rice done right—clean, honest, comforting.
The vibe? Bright, friendly, and unpretentious, just like the staff who keep the place running smooth as Thai silk. This place doesn’t have to scream at you to be noticed. The food speaks loud enough.

Read moreWe came as a group of friends for a late dinner. The place wasn’t busy when we got there. I found the place not roomy for a big group though, it’s relatively small.
Once we were seated, the server served us with water, which was a plus point. Food ordering was quite easy and convenient. We just need to scan the QR code on the table to view the menu and order.
They have an extensive options of food and drinks and we had hard time deciding which dishes to go for. We finally ordered Khao man gai tod, Khao moo grob, a combination set and a Thai street noodle for sharing.
My favorite would be the crispy pork and pork belly as I liked them for the texture. They were quite generous with the sauce as each set of meal came with 3 different sauces which were well complemented with the food. However, I found the food not flavorful enough if I didn’t dip them in the sauce. Pricing and portion wise were decent in my opinion but I wish more meat was given. It wasn’t enough for me as we were sharing among friends.
Overall I enjoyed the dining experience here. The restaurant was clean and bright with the lighting. Food and drinks were served quick too. Keep up...
