Just discovered an amazing three-in-one Thai Restaurant, Cafe, and Bar that stays open until 2 AM! 🇹🇭🍽️ Perfect for those late-night cravings. The food here is so authentic and affordable! For starters, I highly recommend their deep-fried soft shell crab and the salt & pepper calamari—crispy, flavorful, and so satisfying. As a Thai salad lover, I had to try their Fat Thaiger Salad (a signature dish) 🥭🍏 with mango, apple, grilled prawns, and a tangy-spicy dressing. It totally took me back to Phuket beach! 🌴 Another standout? The roasted duck salad—soft, tender duck paired with a spicy coconut sauce that’s just perfect! 🦆🥗 For drinks, you must try the Blue Phuket Cocktail 🍹. Not only is it Instagram-worthy, but it instantly transported me to the beach with its refreshing tropical vibes. 🌊💙 This spot is the perfect blend of great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Be sure to check it out! Salt & pepper calamari 24.9$ Deep fried soft Shell crab 24.9$ Fat thaiger salad Signature 34.9$ 3 grilled King prawns, mix salad, seasonal fruit with house dressing Roasted duck salad 32.9$ Mixed salad topped with coconut cream & lime chilli dressing Blue phuket 20.9$ Dark rhum, vodka, blue curacao, lime, pineapple juice, coconut cream Fresh watermelon mojitos 15.9$ Watermelon, soda water, elderflower, mints, lime juice

This is my first food review ever, but i eat alot of take-away and i felt compelled this was necessary. At 11pm on Thursday (11/11/21) I made a pick up order for "Pad khee mao" with pork cost roughly $20. This the first time i ordered from the Fat Thaiger restaurant. it is 5 minutes walk from my home at the Peak Haymarket. Then i walked anxiously until i arrive at home to see whether it tastes good or not. To begin, this was the most satisfying thai dish i have ever taken away from any restaurant. Generous mix of vegetables & pork and my favourite noodles. The picture i take below not do justice, it was full of goodness and definitely worth $20 (the container is much bigger(deeper) than it looks. I was incredibly satisfied slowly eating this for over 45 minutes at home, i tried to make it last forever. you deserve this 5+ star review. congratulations to the chef you are magnificent, this is authentic thai as i remember from visiting thailand. please keep up your very high standard. i am your new favourite and loyal customer and am beginning to tell my friends what i have described above. i will be back shortly to order the exact same dish, again and again - please chef dont change anything - stay the same. thank you. Khob Khun Krup.. Cheers Rob@Peak

SAVE THIS for your next late night food search in the city 🌃🌖🤤✨🐅 Have you ever been STARVING at that awkward time in the city where most restaurants have taken their final orders and the only place open is that maccas on George? Well, fear not because @fatthaiger 🐅 is a new player on the scene serving up DELICIOUS and AUTHENTIC thai food late into the night! They serve thai food with legit thai taste - but beware that if someone from Thailand says something is not spicy, it’s almost always still very spicy 🌶️ 🥵 We got: ✨ salmon lettuce bites - the perfect bite sized salad packed with peanutty goodness! ✨ crispy fried shrimp - SO GOOD!! As crunchy as it looks and an absolute umami BOMB! LOVED it as a side :) ✨ khao soi with chicken - creamy curry noodles with lots of chicken off the bone 🥘🍗 ✨ seafood tomyum fried rice - intensely savoury, salty flavour, iconic of Thai food if you like that flavour profile. Also very generous with the seafood :) ✨ Chiangmai Dream mock tail - delicious lychee flavour, fresh and testy ✨ fresh watermelon mojito - watermelon candy in liquid form! Overall, loved my visit to @fatthaiger and thrilled that there are more options available in the Sydney night scene 🥰 📍fat thaiger 739 George Street, Haymarket <invite>

Nestled in the heart of the bustling city lies a culinary gem that offers a gateway to the vibrant flavors of Thailand. This exquisite Thai restaurant, known for its authentic and refined cuisine, presents an ambience that intertwines traditional Thai elements with a touch of modernity, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all who step through its doors.

Upon my visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in two of their signature dishes: Pad Thai and fish cakes. The Pad Thai, a quintessential Thai dish, was a symphony of flavors. Expertly prepared, it featured perfectly cooked noodles that were neither too soft nor too firm, tossed with a generous amount of succulent prawns, crunchy peanuts, fresh bean sprouts, and a hint of chili. The balance of sweet, sour, and savory notes was impeccable, with the tangy tamarind sauce elevating the dish to new heights. It was clear that the chef had mastered the art of maintaining the dish's traditional essence while adding a unique twist that left a memorable impression.

The fish cakes were another highlight of the evening. Made from the freshest ingredients, they were delightfully flavorful and had a sublime texture that was both tender and slightly crispy on the outside. Served with a sweet chili sauce that had a perfect blend of sweetness and spice, it complemented the fish cakes beautifully, enhancing their flavor without overpowering it.

Moreover, the service at this restaurant was exemplary. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, providing recommendations that were spot on and ensuring that the dining experience was seamless from start to finish.

In conclusion, this Thai restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the rich tapestry of Thai cuisine. With its exceptional dishes, like the Pad Thai and fish cakes, warm atmosphere, and outstanding service, it stands as a testament to the culinary delights that Thailand has to offer. Whether you're a seasoned aficionado of Thai food or a curious newcomer, this restaurant promises an unforgettable dining experience that will leave you...
