Chestnut Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

This cafe is run by the same people who used to run the Coffee Club here. It's still a breakfast-and-lunch place, although the decor has changed and they've added new menu items like made-to-order sandwiches where you get to pick all of the ingredients (yay!).

Marked down on atmosphere because tables probably should have signs on them denoting, "Reserved for Chestnut Cafe customers only" to keep randoms from sitting down. It's the middle of the shopping centre, and people have been sitting in their seating area without being customers for years. I had a particularly annoying set of randoms sit down less than 30cm away from me, and instead of the near person facing away from me toward the person he was sitting with, he faced sideways. And worse, he came out to the shops ill, and coughed on me twice. Eww, naw, I don't want a side of disease with my breakfast and tea. Rather than trying to address problems after they occur, the cafe would do well to minimise likelihood that the problem will occur by adding signage on each table reserving tables for customers only, like other cafes in the shopping centre like...

Neat little Cafe on level 1 Royal Randwick shopping centre overlooking ground floor below. The cafe was not busy when I ordered Sunday breakfast, in contrast to the other cafe on ground floor (The Shed) which was nearly a full house. Asked for a Mango Frappe which is on the menu couldn't have because they didn't have all the ingredients. I also asked for a Mixed Berry got the same reposed. So I asked for a Strawberry milkshake the milk was warm it was sitting on the bench don't know how long it's been sitting there it's supposed be kept in the fridge and there was no ice to keep the milkshake cold.
