On 23/04/2022 my colleagues and I presented to Club Parramatta after dinner. I went to get my license checked and signed in with the receptionist like the rest of my colleagues. I was standing and waiting for another person who had to sign in with their picture. A security guard at around 10pm-1030pm approached me and stood very close in front of me. He was being very invasive and tried to ask where ive been whom i am with. Although i mentioned i came after dinner, he proceeded to ask intrusive questions like "just by yourself"? Why does he need to know this? He then stated "your intoxicated"! I was there for a mere 5 mins and already had my license checked and signed. He didnt even monitor for body language or observed respectfully. He was very invasive and my colleagues had to come over from the other-side. As soon as they confirmed i was not intoxicated he just said "ok ok". This incident was highly unprofessional. There was barely anyone inside during this time. There was a random guy who looked severely intoxicated and approached our group and asked to sit with us TWICE! The security and other staff were very close by chatting away at the foyer. As we were leaving there were 3 guys who casually spoke racist comments "i hate indians" right in front of the club doors. I was so uncomfortable that i took one look at this security guard and lost my confidence in him. I couldnt even make a professional complaint about this. This security personnel couldve been much more professional, i understand if he things i could have been intoxicated but wait and observe someones body language- i was literally standing there waiting alone for a friend! There are other things going around your club that should have been dealt with instead of being so invasive and making others feel uncomfortable during this visit. I usually look at security guards and feel safe but this wasnt the case om this day. It really soured my experience which couldve otherwise been smooth and just another outing...

On the 22/03/2024, I noticed a banner ad at Club Parramatta stating "Become a Member & Park Free ". So my mother who was with me decided to become a member. She signed up as a member by an unpleasant customer service employee at the front desk by the name Amor.

After we signed up, we went outside the club for 20 min and when we returned to have lunch at the club. The same customer service employee advised us that we cannot be members just for the free parking, where my mother advised "We are going to have lunch here though", she then abruptly said "no it doesn't work like that."

This was a shocking way to speak to a new member nor did the situation at hand require such aggressive policing and attempt for public humiliation at the lobby of the club.

I requested to speak to the manager on duty (Mark Oniana) who was quickly briefed by Amor's on her censored version of events on the phone, Mark arrived to the front desk stating that Amor was indeed correct that "you cannot go outside the club if you park here" almost suggesting members are to be held captive if they choose to park at the club.

I advised him no where on the sign did it say this, to which he responded "that sign is wrong, and we are working to reprint a new one"... when we said "We came back to have lunch at the facilities" he too said "no it doesn't work like that"... so both employees made it a point to claim their advertisement was wrong, blocked us from eating a meal at the club and claim our rightful parking perks that drew us in in the first place and a cheap attempt to publicly humiliate us over absolutely nothing and really only cost the club a paying customer willing to enjoy the facilities.

I did ask for corporate complaint department to which he happily gave it to us in the tone that there would be no repercussions or bothered by my complaint on...
