It’s cheap as chips ( they have them too), but if there’s one key menu item it would be the lasagna - layers of goodness prepared fresh daily. The pasta is fine for the price and the pizza is not wood fired, but it is a much better alternative than DominosHut. Haven’t tried the ā€œAussie fish&chipsā€ items, but they’re there. Dinner for two with medium pizza, lasagna and pasta, including soft drinks as of this post was $51 - quite a catch. Not a romantic setting, but do yourself a favour and get takeaway and enjoy the cheap eats by the beach or centennial park nearby. Or just enjoy the quirky space. Oh, and the owner was very chatty and friendly when we were there (last customers), telling us about their low fat mozzarella and premium olive oil used. I take her word for it and I shall be back for that grilled barra and other dishes.

Old style cafe with benches and chairs as an option for seating either indoor or outdoor with a beautiful Mural outside on the other block wall. It just makes the mood to eat. The food is amazing and I have been here a couple of times. I tried pastas, risotto, burger, omelette, sandwiches, coffee, pizza, fish n chips. The pasta is the best and my favorite one with cream sauce, perfectly cooked penne pasta for al dente. Very balanced dish and nothing overpowers. Good portion size with not too expensive rates! Service in terms of hospitality was just amazing, very friendly and smiling staff. A must try cafe!

Old classic resto. Feels like a homecooked meal! I also noticed a lot of gramps and grannys eating here prove that their food is really goood. We ordered their supreme pizza šŸ•and their classic carbonara šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼ Good for 3 pax!! Really good. Go to place when in Randwick. šŸ˜‰

The First place we dined in when we first arrived in Australia 17 years ago. Still order from them on the same date to celebrate. They're now called Skandel's I believe but theyve been around for more than 20 years. Their staff is friendly and theyre pizza is delicious! Pricing is consistent with the area.

Keep in mind though, this is not a wood fired pizza restaurant, so dont have the same expectations, as pizzas from conventional and woodfired ovens are completely different in their own delicious way. Wood fires, are dripping saucy, flimsy and have goooey cheese. Conventional ovens, are more on the 'drier' side, but packed with flavour. Fast service and a hidden gem...

I like this quirky place have had the big breakfast simple two eggs soft two bacon rashes and two slices of buttered white toast and coffee was tasty n hit the spot. a pizza very tasty and ample for one and the fish and chips just a nice piece of fish and a handful of chips, tartare sauce but only $10.50, what a pleasant surprise moist, juicy, not too heavy on the batter nothing flash but good wholesome and I think cheap food. This has become my go too when I don't want to cook. Yes the owner is a little Asian very chatty sweet lady efficient and friendly. A hidden in plain sight gem, becoming a regular don't let it's decor or appearance put you...
