Central has the best public transport from train, buses, trams & even the CountryLink trains which connects you to other cities in Australia such as Melbourne etc - I have not had a chance to travel by train to other cities yet but that is in my bucket list once the COVID-19 reduces in Australia. Central is so close to so many nice restaurants and cafés & has the best coffees! (You don’t need to go Melbourne lane way to enjoy a nice strong flavoursome coffee) you can grab this anywhere from central to Surry Hills, only a short walk by foot. You can also check out China Town, Market City, Darling Harbour or Darling Square, even Star Casino (approx 15-20 minutes walk) or longer & if you feel lazy, you can catch a tram, it’s very easy (catch via Central train station) near the big displayed Clock and the food hall by the train station close to the country link trains. So many things to do and see! They also have nice bars, so you can have a nice cocktail. Just be careful of some people if you are not familiar with the area. I must admit, there are many characters you may come across, some maybe nice but some maybe rude or arrogant or even aggressive even though you're minding your own business. Watch your bag and wallet at all times. And maybe don’t travel alone at nighttime. Based on my experience, I have had bad experience where someone screamed at me etc or bump into you to cause some sort of drama, try to avoid it. But overall I feel safe whilst walking around. Just good to be cautious. If you have time, head to Chinese Garden and have a zen tea moment... Good to relax & not think about life sometimes. I love that Central is very close to everything! It’s a foodie’s paradise!

Central Station is a major transportation hub that serves as the main railway station in Sydney. As a frequent traveler, I have had numerous experiences at Central Station, and overall, I would say that it is an efficient and well-organized transportation center. One of the things I appreciate about Central Station is its accessibility. It is located in the heart of the city and is easily accessible via train, bus, and light rail. The station itself is also well-organized, with clear signage and plenty of staff available to help with any questions or concerns. In terms of amenities, Central Station offers a variety of options for travelers. There are several food and beverage outlets, including cafes, fast-food chains, and sit-down restaurants. There are also numerous shops selling everything from souvenirs to books and electronics. As for the transportation options, Central Station offers a wide range of services, including regional trains, intercity trains, and long-distance trains. The station also serves as a major hub for buses, with numerous routes departing from the station's nearby bus terminal. However, one downside of Central Station is that it can get quite busy, especially during peak travel times. This can lead to long queues and crowded platforms, which can be overwhelming for some travelers. Additionally, the station is quite large, which can make it difficult to navigate for those unfamiliar with the layout.

I was a visitor to Sydney to attend wedding on Saturday and Sunday night. Tired from the wedding and deprived of sleep and rest, took an early morning 6:39 am train on Monday am from quakers hill to central to catch a connecting train to domestic airport. I am also on medication for hypertension which is a diuretic. Train journey to central was an hour commute. By the time I reached central station I was desperate to use the toilet and I was in terrible pain due to full bladder. We asked staff at the train station direction for the toilet. She was really nice and polite and she let us know that the toilet nearby is closed for maintenance and gave it’s direction. For next available toilet we had to go another part of the station which will take 30 minutes to reach and back. I am disappointed and shocked that in this so called first world country this is the plight, were if some one is sick and have to use the bathroom urgently have to walk 30 minutes to find a toilet. That too in a place like central station where all kinds of commuters travel at all odd hours of the day. Pls change this and put portable toilets, like at the building sites, if the toilet’s are going to be closed for maintenance. No human should lose their dignity having an accident because they can not find a toilet where it supposed to be, in this developed...
