Galli Galli Nepalese Indian — Restaurant in Sydney

The singer is amazing, however the service received wasn’t up to par. The restaurant only had one waitress jumping between a few tables on a busy Saturday night. Right off the jump they got the order wrong when they delivered Fanta, when lemon lime bitter was ordered. Decided to let it go. Not allergic to any drinks, so enjoyed the Fanta regardless. For the food order - momos were great, however the noodles were too spicy for liking. we waited for 15 mins for the waitress to come check on us so we could convey this to her, however she did not. It was also very hard to grab her attention during a loud music session where we could barely even talk to other people on the table. We decided to leave after waiting for so long. When asked if we could take the noodles off the bill since it was visibly only had two bites at most taken from it, the restaurant didn’t know how to manage the situation and refused to do so, blaming us for not pointing this to the waitress earlier. I definitely don’t want to blame the waitress or the team working because it seemed like they were doing their best to deliver service to all dining tables/ maybe management needs to look into rostering more staff during busy periods so the weight doesn’t fall on the shoulder of just a few people to deliver to so many tables. The issue could have easily been resolved if there were more people working, so tables were being checked on more. Felt sorry for the staff....

I had the most wonderful evening at Galli Galli, and even though this review is a bit late, I couldn’t miss the chance to share my experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a great night.

One of the highlights of our visit was the live music—it was absolutely fantastic! The energy, the vibe, and the overall ambiance made for an unforgettable experience. It truly elevated our evening, making it one of the most enjoyable nights out in a long time.

We ordered a few dishes from the menu, and every single item was excellent. The flavors were well-balanced, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the presentation was on point. It’s always a pleasure to find a restaurant that delivers both in terms of food and ambiance.

The service was also commendable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of great food, amazing music, and top-notch service all in one place.

Overall, Galli Galli exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you’re looking for a fun night out with friends, a romantic evening, or just a place to enjoy great food and music, this is the place to be.

Food was 8.5 out of 10 but do not have lemon lime bitters Customer service was in minus Staff member rude with bad attitude, under staff, management a big 0 They had 1 bench, 4 chairs for booking of 9 adults and 1 child. The rude male wait staff instead of arranging table he said he always fits 8 people in there, he also said you booked one hr ago so this is only available. He also was arguing instead of arranging the table for us and said this is it. Apparently owner was partying in the same place with family who suggested the wait staff to combine 2 tables to fits us in but did not bother talking to us. I would have left the place but as I had a toddler who was tired and hungry did not want him to walk to another place so I continued to dine in. No regrets with the food but attitude and customer experience so I am never going back. I would rather have average food and feel good then worst customer experience.
