Golden Sun BBQ — Restaurant in Sydney

Went there with my partner and both ordered BBQ pork rice We waited for ten minutes and it was not even lunchtime yet, around 11;15 am on a week day. When we got the BBQ pork on our plates, they look like they were off cuts and bits of pieces of left over cuts. There was No full bits. of BBQ pork meats on the plate, just little bits of off cuts, No crackling Very disappointed that I payed money for this. The service was bad as well and the rice was cold. There was a young man cutting the meats, must be the owners son. Never ever going there again

Response to owner..... I ordered BBQ Pork and Roast Pork, 2 meats Dish. The BBQ pork was ok,bug the Roast Pork was different altogether, it was not the whole length of Roast Pork ( Crackling skin, fat, meat ) What I got was little Squares of Roast Pork , you have left over on your chopping board. The Square off cuts of Rost Pork were bits of fat & meat and maybe 2-3 crackling skin. I have been to other BBQ Shops in Sydney and Never Ever do they add off cuts to sit in meals. There was a line outside a small restaurant/take away across the street from my appointment and I was very curious. After my appointed, I went over to have a look at the food. There Ducks looked amazing, soI bought half a roast duck to try. When I got home and tased it, it was one of the best roast ducks I have ever had. I have lived in Asia, and also live close to Chatswood where there are lots of roast duck restaurants and takeaways. Hands down this is one of the best roast ducks I have ever had. When you see locals lining up and the line going down the street you know it's going to be good. My only regret was I only bought half a roast duck. The staff were friendly, service was quick and good price. The meat was succulent and very tasty. I highly recommend the roast duck. It is a very delicious roast duck shop, probably the best in this area. The prices are reasonable, but... the service is terrible. The staff in the shop have poor manners, do not pay attention to the situation, work slowly, and don't care how long customers have to wait. Outside the shop, customers have to queue for a long queue and wait for a very long time.

I recently went to buy roast duck and had to wait a long time, but the staff didn’t care. It felt like if you want to eat duck from this shop, you just have to wait. Personally, I will not go back to buy roast duck from this place again because there are many other roast duck shop that taste just as good.
