$80.00 meal Kid no older that 10 the whole time working behind counter, serving people. No drinks menu on offer, waitress told us the 4 drinks they had. Waitress did her best and was polite but did not know much and was very inexperienced. Had to ask for a wine glass and ice bucket after waiting 10mins with BYO drinks, probably because the 10yr old Didn't know what to do. Waited for the glass that was less than 10 foot from us, Was given a filthy dirty wine glass in the end that I had to clean my self with our table water, napkin came out black from cleaning the glass. Food was good but curries were very small for the $17.50 each price tag. Ordered dessert but was told it wasn't 'ready' as the freezer hasn't frozen it properly. Flys bothered us the whole meal. A cockroach was crawling up the wall in the corner of the restaurant . Bollywood music videos playing, that were very "mood killing" Old, poxy, cheap decor. Has the potential to a be nice...
Read moreI have going there for couple of years . Didn’t had anything wrong , always good food but today was complete mess . I ordered a beef briyani which I always have . Waited happily for 25 minutes as thinking for freshly prepared one . But when the food arrived , bummer !! It was frozen cold …heart broken and really disappointed . The waiter apologised and took the food back and come back with explanation of 2nd one is already in oven and coming soon . There is nothing wrong with the waiter , my point is people come to restaurants for freshly prepared food not for the food prepared earlier and heat it up in the microwave .And mostly chef has the audacity to serve cold food…seriously This is get the owner attention … I have been a fan of Himalaya and always enjoyed spicy hot fresh food .Place has going down hill. End up having meccas …very disappointed 😢
If the owner knows already about dodgy business Then...
Read moreFirst impression was very good thought it must be 100% halal as it mentioned it and got satisfied when we saw Allah's name on the wall. Food was good but all of a sudden when we were about to leave we saw something that just blew our mind when we saw them serving alcohol to a couple under the name of Allah. Never going back to this restaurant again. In sha Allah. Actually, we dont know if these Himalayan guys really understand this or not. If you are selling alcohol at your business then it's irrelevant whether your food is halal or not, it's irrelevant whether you have halal certificate or not, it's just all become irrelevant because now, since you are selling alcohol, nothing is left halal in your shop. But we can understand they are doing this for gaining market and business but they should not be deceiving muslims by saying our restaurant is...
