Last night I waited 30-40 mins for a kebab and a combo from the time of the ordering to customer hand over. It was busy but not a crush. When I enquired as to the delay about 20 minutes in, they told me it was a fresh kebab thing, just cooked that they were cutting the meat.
The delay in the production of then kebabs etc was dissapointing for me as I had made a special trip from far away and was taking the food some distance home. And when I finally got home the other diner had fallen fast asleep waiting for me and her kebab. So no dinner for her.
It might have been better customer service if they let me know of the delay at the start, then I would have gone somewhere else for that meal but returned to them next time. Or when they knew there was going to be a delay, they should have told me about it and offered me my money back or something different from their large menu. I would have switched to a pizza etc
From their perspective I guess I was a delayed order and I would have to wait. I had already paid and was at their mercy as to their performance. No one thought about my feelings or understood the consequences.
They apologised but it was very quick and it seemed to me, not overly sincere. It could have been, but it didn't seem like it. They didn't offer me anything in recognition of the delay.
Now I think you should buy from there and try their food, service and stuff. Don't take my experience as representative of the whole. It's a factual account and that's it. These people work hard and employ people. They have probably helped thousands of people over the years. They are entitled to have a few bad nights, and have the occasional screw up and overall they should be supported.
I thought they were special and worth the sacrifice, but now we are going to try different places. Good luck to them, but we really don't want to be a part of...

Straight after the game we ordered 3 kebabs, 3 pides & a large chips, we were told 20min to pick up. With the amount of traffic getting out of the Panthers game, we arrived maybe 25 to 30 min later. When we arrived they advised us the order was just finishing up & the lady saying it will out to us very soon. I waited another 15min in the store and I asked again how long it would be & I was met with the same response. Another 15min went past & there were 3 people who came in, ordered & received their food while I was waiting in the store. This prompted me to ask what we were waiting for??? The response was : we are remaking the order for you now!!!!! By this stage I received a phone call from my wife telling me our 2 kids were carrying on in the car because they were hungry!! But this is exactly why I preordered the food so we werenât waiting around. I couldnât wait for my order to be remade , & I let them know that when I left. I felt really silly walking back to the car with no food as I was telling my wife and kids ALL week that we were in for a treat & how good the kebabs & pides are from Panthers Pizza & Kebab compared to the kebabs shops out the Hawkesbury way!! I am usually very forgiving in most of these kind of instances, but the trip on the way home with screaming kids was something I wouldnât have wished upon anyone. We have been ordering from there for about 7 to 8 years and the pizzas were amazing. We ordered last night and we ordered a month ago and same thing delivery tooooo toooo long and pizzas cold we couldn't even eat them. When we rang at 7.45pm the man said just waiting for a driver and we said the food won't be cold will it he said no it won't be one hour and 5 min later the driver came. Then I decided to ring the Boss and tell him my feedback at 9.15pm when the pizza came after ringing 29 times and them just hanging up or not answering at 10.20pm they decided to answer. I spoke to Collin the manager that's what he said his name was all he could say was in between 5 and 8 it's very busy and we don't have enough drivers I said it never used to be like this he said ever since they got the menu log this is what's happened they are getting too many orders. And I said then you need to stop taking orders or tell the customers how long it will really be if it's going to be 3 hours tell the customer the truth or you need another management way because this one is not working for you and he said yes I'm sorry for this.
