Cafe Fred — Restaurant in Sydney

I’ve been a regular at Café Fred in Penrith, and it’s quickly become one of our favourite spots. The coffee here is consistently excellent—rich and perfectly brewed every time. What really sets Café Fred apart, though, is their unique menu, especially the cheeseburger jaffle which my kids absolutely love. Their in-house baked muffins, fresh soups, and cold-pressed juices are also fantastic and always fresh.

The vibe is funky and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making every visit a memorable experience. Whether we’re eating in or grabbing takeaway, the service is quick and warm. Located right on Penrith’s main street, it’s super convenient for us.

Lovely Cafe right in the top of High St Penrith!! Pretty easy to find parking compared to Cafe Upstairs. Caring, friendly thoughtful, helpful wait staff, looks like they are part of the family not just employees!! Bosses: treat your staff like these girls and your business will THRIVE!!! Really casual place, chairs and wall benches don't really encourage you to stay long though!! Plenty of coffee and soft drink options, all day 'no rules' menu, (breaky all day any way you like it!!) reasonable prices (actually my favourite gluten free cashew vanilla slice is $0.50 cheaper than their other Cafe Upstairs!!!). Jaffels were awesome!! Bit pricey for just two waffles and two coffees, shame there is no deal available for them.. place was clean and tidy.. one staff member, sweet girl with dark brown hair was so helpful and polite but the other blonde one was not as helpful.. cafe customer service is a must, sometimes that may be the difference between keeping customers and loosing customers..
