christmas day lunch: lovely view, Ordinary food, terrible service, overpriced The eatery overlooks the water, looking towards Darling Harbour. The chairs are not suitable as dining chairs. They are lounging chairs suited to lazy sunday drinks. the indoor area was in covid mode with many seats removed. outdoors was fully stocked. We arrived at 1,30pm christmas day to a maître d who took quite a while find our bookings. It wasn't as if the place was full. Pricing: $130 PP for fixed menu, drinks for 2 - $160 Experience: a ludicrous 50 minutes for drink order to be taken, then cocktails arrived just before the starter. 10 minutes is too long a wait, but 50 mins is utterly ridiculous. the food: Starter was calamari and prawns, all of which were chewy and tough. another 45 mins for main to arrive (whole barramundi) and was way overcooked. The sauce was far too salty, and the salads, like the fish, had obviously sat, awaiting pickup for some time. After 2 1/4 hours we asked for our pudding (which had not yet arrived at our table) to be put in to containers so we could leave. Meanwhile we had to ask waiters continually for food and drink, or we would still be sitting there now. 2 1/4 hours for 2 courses, let that sink in. Every interaction with staff was like pulling teeth. We were called before the day, to prepay food IN FULL. Just as well or we would not have paid. the cheapest wine at $14 for a small glass was also overpriced. the cocktails were tasty but who wants to drink a cocktail with a meal? The total came to $390 for 2, which included a 15% holiday surcharge, not mentioned prior. The food had obviously stayed awaiting pickup for a very long time, and in the final indignity, the cheese cakes had begun to melt. In short, the food was average to poor, at best. The service was simply unacceptable. there was no offer of comp'ing a round of drinks, OR ANY OTHER FORM of compensation. it was a terrible experience from a group who pride themselves on excellent service and food. DON'T GO!!!!! Avoid at ALL COSTS

Australia sources some of the best seafood in the world, so I was thrilled to indulge in a feast here! The venue is beautiful with views to match. It’s like you’re eating in the Mediterranean and I love that about this place. I can just imagine how much better it would be in summer though! You've got to order fish & chips at a seafood restaurant, so we did! A fillet of Cod served with crunchy chips, charcoal lemon and lime mayonnaise made for the perfect dish. The fish was golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Sydney Rock Oysters with yuzu avocado, green caviar and shiso sauce. Beautifully presented and tasted delicious too! The Tuna Tartare was made with seared fresh yellow-fin Australian tuna, tomato concasse and avocado then finished with a sesame, mint, chilli and ginger dressing. It didn't come with bread so we requested some to accompany it. I was a fan of this one too. Another dish off the Small Plates was the Parmesan Stuffed Calamari Skewer. Baby QLD calamari stuffed with parmesan breadcrumbs & parsley, cooked in a garlic, white wine, cherry tomatoes and basil sauce. It had a strong seafood smell to it but it did not taste fishy at all. The sauce paired superbly with the calamari. For something a little more hearty, we ordered the Prawn Linguine and the Signature Caribbean Fish Curry. The prawns were marinated in oil, garlic & chilli with cherry tomatoes then tossed in a white wine and prawn bisque sauce and finished with a chargrilled king prawn and fried rocket. Can't beat a classic seafood pasta dish! I heard a lot about the fish curry and I knew we had to order it! It was a beautiful selection of fresh seafood and vegetables served with toasted bread. Some curries can be quite hot but this dish focused more on flavour than heat. This is a must order!

Dined here after seeing the plethora of awesome reviews and were really keen after a weekend of awesome seafood and dining in Darling Harbour. Jordon's unfortunately really let us down. We arrived for our scheduled booking, originally were seated in the late afternoon sun and I requested for us to move as the sun was coming in our faces. The staff's willingness to accommodate the move is the only reason they get a 2/5. Everything else went down from there for the service. There were plenty of staff walking around yet no one asked if we liked our meals and whether we needed any drinks etc. We ordered the scallops, tuna belly and brussel sprouts. The scallops were liquidy and mushy (you can see the extra liquid on the photo) and we doubted their freshness so asked if they were frozen and the waitress told us they were fresh (I doubt this). The tuna belly was oddly spiced, it was seasoned with something along the lines of Moroccan spices like you would use for lamb, a really odd choice for a piece of fish. Asides from the texture, I would've thought I was eating lamb. Not bad necessarily, it just didn't compliment the meat. The brussel sprouts were also not as advertised, they supposedly had honey with them but I could not taste any. Yay for the chips and cocktails, they were the only redeeming parts of this meal. Hence the 2/5 and not a 1/5 for the food. We brought up our feedback with our waitress and she was nice but apathetic and did not raise the feedback with management or offer us compensation in any way even though we suggested it. Sadly, will not be recommending this place and will not be taking people there. Hope they can do better.

If you are looking for a nice quality sit down meal, I recommend going elsewhere. (Check this restaurant’s lowest reviews. Most of them will be about the bad customer service. We saw the reviews but thought maybe those reviews were just one-offs….. they were not).

My fiancé and I had a dinner reservation at this restaurant and when we checked in, the lady checked us off on her list and then started walking to the table without saying a word to us. She sat us down, we thanked her, and she gave us the menu and didn’t say anything else. Someone else then came up to us to grab our drink and food orders. Our appetizers came out and same thing, the waitress just dropped off our food at the table - all she asked was where she can put the plates, dropped them off, and left. Nothing else was said. We were only halfway through our appetizers when our waitress brought out our main dishes and awkwardly held them while my fiancé and I had to scramble and rearrange our appetizers at the table to make room. She then dropped our main dishes at the table and again, just left without saying a word.

I don’t think that’s ever happened to us at a “nice” restaurant before. During our meal no one checked in on us at all and we had our empty appetizer plate on the table the whole time. When it came time to pay for the bill, it was the same thing - she dropped the bill off at our table, took our money, and never said a word to us, just left.

There was no shred of customer service the entire night, which would make sense at a side-of-the-road takeaway restaurant, but for a $200 bill for two people, we’d hope for at least reasonable customer service. There were several tables around us who we had overheard talking, that had concerns with the customer service during their dinner as well. There are plenty of nice restaurants along Darling Harbour and we both strongly suggest you look elsewhere. We hope management takes these concerns and feedback seriously and train their staff accordingly. We were looking forward to this dinner reservation and it was just a really big...
