Food Order: (1) 300g Jack's Creek Sirlion MB4+ w. mole madre and fresh lime (medium rare), (2) Truffle fries w. mixed spices, manchego cheese, chives, truffle oil and chipotle mayo. Total AUD91.00.

Food: I'm not a fan of beef steak, but the sirloin blew my mind and this is one of the best steak I've eaten, which passes my taste buds as I do not prefer the intense gamey flavours in some beef steak. I highly recommend for those who have their reservations on beef steak as well. This steak has a thin charred and slightly crispy layer on the outside, and is tender on the inside. I liked the flavour and texture of the beef, which was a right balance of smoky, tangy / salted, tender and juicy. The fries were also crispy and flavourful. My wife and I were glad to have selected this out of many other restaurants along Darling Harbour.

Portion: Adequate portion for the dishes.

Service: Good and fast, although it seemed to be seated at 75%+ capacity. The restaurant checked with us on the food, whether we wanted to order more food or drinks.

Indoor Air Conditioning: The air conditioning was great. It was cool and comfortable plus our food did not become cold such that it affected the taste and experience while we ate.

Ambience: The restaurant has a view of the harbour / sea for photography. The interior decorations, design and lighting was splendid as well. The background music was lively and not too loud to allow normal conversation.

Location: It is located within Sydney Central Business District, and is close to multiple hotels, attractions...

LET ME TELL YOU! An experience we were so glad to have for our dear sister’s BRIDAL DINNER. From our initial contact with Cynthia our Event Coordinator to every single person we met while inside (the host at the front desk, the bar staff, waiters helping their tables, kitchen staff - literally everyone) to our very competent allocated restaurant attendant for the night Ivan. The warmth and genuine interest in our celebration was nothing more than exceptional.

You see beautiful venues online and when you arrive IT CAN BE A VERY DIFFERENT STORY. Well not for the beauty that is ALEGRE Everything online is exactly what you get in real life and the aesthetic is amazingly put together! Such a gorgeous, gorgeous space! You can be sure we made use of the space SNAPPING AWAY!

Now. The FOOD. An Island Girl CAN EAT! Again, being a big group it’s hard to find a group menu where you actually feel like you got your money’s worth! ALEGRE DID’T DISAPPOINT! At all! Food portions were great & SUPER SCRUMPTIOUS!
