My partner and I chose to dine at Brazico because we both enjoy the churrascaria-style Brazilian BBQ experience. Overall, it was a pleasant evening, though not without a few hiccups.
Upon arrival, we were shown to our seats-located in a corner near the front of the restaurant. It was a bit chilly, though the provided heaters made it somewhat bearable. The seating was arranged in a way that was supposed to offer a harbour view, but to be honest, the view was underwhelming. Various objects and boats blocked the scenery, and with the constant foot traffic, it felt more distracting than scenic. Not sure why they set it up that way.
After settling in, we browsed the drinks menu and discussed our options. However, I noticed that unlike the guests seated after us, we hadn’t received the food menus. We ended up waiting about 10 minutes without any service until we flagged down a waiter to request menus and place our drink order. It seemed like we were seated in a rush and overlooked, especially since guests who arrived later were served more promptly and received all their items, including additional cutlery for the ayce dining.
The service at Brazico feels hit or miss. The staff were friendly and polite, but clearly understaffed; only about three people managing a full dining area, which led to delays and inconsistencies.
When our sides finally arrived, most were enjoyable; except for the salad, which tasted off. The lettuce seemed unwashed. We informed a server, who appeared to be a manager, and he returned saying the kitchen confirmed the salad had been washed three times and was fresh. The implication was that we were mistaken. As someone with restaurant experience and a father who’s been a chef for over 20 years, I can confidently say the salad was not up to standard. Dismissing our feedback was disappointing.
Ironically, I had a similar mixed leaf salad at a different restaurant the next day, and it tasted perfectly fine; further confirming that something was off here. My partner and I laughed about it later, but it did sour the experience a bit.
Now, onto the highlight; the meats. Every cut we tried was delicious, cooked well, and served with just the right amount of rareness. Brazico truly delivers on the BBQ aspect, and we have no complaints there.
One small critique: the cinnamon pineapple could use more cinnamon. It might be better if they coated the whole uncut pineapple in cinnamon before slicing, to give a bolder flavour. The current version has only a mild hint of it.
In summary, the food; aside from the salad-was quite good, and the meats were excellent. However, the service was slow due to understaffing, which matches what I read in other reviews. With only two people serving meat to over 25 tables, delays are inevitable. A bit more attention to detail and stronger staffing would elevate the experience...
Read moreI truely wanted to give a 5 star rating for the food itself as we order from the alcarte the seafood fish n rump cap was cook to perfection. However the service is really horrible as they make 3 rounds of mistake. Thus the 3 star. Arrived there at 6pm. Made a reservation via first table. The lady could not find my reservation . Upon checking a few times with the proof of my app we finally got the table. We waited quite awhile before we can get someone to order our food at 615pm. Was starving at that time requested that they serve the food or at least the entree of cheese bread asap. After 40 mins later I was famish by then n wondered why it took so long to heat up a bread. We were served our mains without our entree. The strange thing is the waitress actually repeated our order before heading off. But when I ask where is the entree she looks shocked n said oh it was forgotten n ask if we still want it. We said yes. After another 30 mins gone out entree was not served by then we waited another 15 mins , we already finish our mains n still looking forward to try the cheese bread. So we flag the waitress again and she says it's on the way. But after another 15 to 20 mins. That is like an hour later we gave up n another waitress came up to inform us that they won't be serving us the cheese bread.. we kinna like why didn't they say so... Anyway we still okay. But when the bill came they did not honour the first table incentive discount. I have to explain to her to understand n waited another 10 mins. By then was frustrated to notice that it only apply to food n not the drinks like some other restaurants do. We really truely liked the food that the chef made . While eating we said it's so good we should drop by following week n bring our friends. But the messiest of the waitress n service is really sad and make us abit pissed off. It's only a Thursday night and I saw the table next to us also frustrated having to wait ages to order food. If they can manage their order n service better . Their business will definately do better even in paying full price but with the disappointing service n follow up.. I think some customers may not want to be back.
We will still give another chance to come back but if service is like this. U will not see us ever coming back again even when the chef cooks...

At first glance, this place seems like an ideal waterfront dining spot. Open air decor, nice furnishing and enthusiastic staff all while serving authentic Brazilian bbq which isn't that common. Location is a bit of a double edged sword as it can get a bit rowdy right outside. Whilst the overall experience was positive, I think it could have been better in a few ways.
Firstly, when we arrived, albeit a bit early, we were told the table was already ready, but, not sure if staff are overworked or something, we were left standing outside for about 20-30 minutes until we prompted staff again.
Secondly, we had booked in advance so the staff had to know that it would be a big group, but, service was a bit slow and disorganized. Sides came out first which is normal, but, took quite a while for the meats to arrive (table side carving was nice though). Furthermore, we again had to prompt staff a few times that we wanted the other sides on the menu (e.g. halloumi and pineapple).
Lastly, we ordered the all you can eat experience. I do understand that the restaurant is trying to maximize profit, but, would have liked the option to choose what we were served immediately. I think we were offered the chicken and bacon and small pork sausages maybe 4-5 times? The staff were accommodating when we asked for the actual BBQ though.
In terms of food overall, it was good but VERY SALTY. All you can eat not that enjoyable to be honest, but, I'd recommend: Chorizo: SS, 9/10. Very juicy and tasty. Oily but probably unavoidable. Garlic prawns: SS, 9/10. Also very plump and juicy. Maybe less butter? Roasted veg: SS, 9/10. Unironically one of the better parts of the meal Lamb and pork shoulder: S+, 8.5/10. Both were quite well spiced and tender
Beef cuts, overall, were underwhelming which was...
