I recently had a very disappointing experience at KFC Hurstville, and I feel compelled to share my frustration. Our corporate team ordered approximately $100 worth of food for a work lunch, which was a significant order for us. The drive-thru experience initially seemed promising, as the lady who took our order repeated it back to us twice to ensure accuracy.
However, our excitement quickly turned into disappointment when we returned to the office and realized that half of our order was missing. Understandably, we were quite upset about this, and we immediately called the store to rectify the situation.
That's when we had the misfortune of dealing with the extremely rude manager, Ben. Instead of offering assistance or a solution, Ben seemed more interested in making up excuses and lies. He claimed that we hadn't ordered the items that were missing, which was simply not true. We provided him with a clear and accurate list of our order, which was confirmed by his own staff during the initial order process.
We politely requested to return to the store to collect the missing items and complete our order, but to our astonishment, Ben was aggressively denying us this opportunity. He offered a mere $15 credit as compensation and stubbornly refused to replace the missing items. This was far from satisfactory, given the value of our order and the inconvenience caused by their mistake.
This experience has left a bitter taste in our mouths, and it's safe to say that we will never visit KFC Hurstville again. It's truly disheartening to encounter such poor customer service and a lack of accountability, especially when we were simply seeking a resolution to an error made by the store. We had hoped for a better response from KFC, but sadly, we were left feeling utterly disappointed...

I am just going to say that I work in the area locally, we seldom order from this KFC branch as past orders have always missed the mark, and I do not mean they miss just one item, I mean they will miss several items in your order all at once, the person at the drive through will hand you a bag or box with whatever you have ordered, close the window and not look back. You can check your bag to find numerous items missing and there will be NO service at the window, does not matter if you sit there and block the drive through traffic, these guys DO NOT CARE. It took me formal complaints on the official KFC website to get them to acknowledge their mistake. It has been almost 3 years with orders here and there, and NOTHING has changed. Whoever owns this franchise is clearly hiring drop-kicks to work at this branch. The manager at this branch KNOWS that staff member always neglect to put your sauces (that you have paid for) in the bag, the branch has made NO improvements despite this. PRO TIP: ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER THOROUGHLY! If you are in the drive thru, take your time and go through everything regardless if other cars are waiting behind you, because 100/100 times you will be missing something at least one item from your order!
Also if you are scrolling through reviews and find a review with 5 stars saying the service is almost faultless, DO NOT BE FOOLED, as a person who has worked in the hospitality industry, I KNOW for a FACT that staff will post fake reviews using false accounts to boost ratings. I had to ask for someone to clean a table so we could sit … she cleaned one table sat across the learherettr couch which was stained with dry soft drinks and went to walk away I asked if she could please clean another table as the couch seating was so close to the table you could not sit in . She did spray the table and walked away totally disregarding all the rest which were filthy !! Literally not one table was clean enough to dine on . I then asked for someone napkins at the counter and was rudely told that there is one in your bag . I asked politely for some more .. … so we could place a couple on the table . She had to go out the back and open a new packet and I obviously inconvenienced her as all the staff members in the back looked at me as if I had just walked in naked LOL 😂 … and then she handed me half the packet of brown napkins … sarcastically.??? Why ??? What are these kids thinking?? You are not privileged or have the right to be rude !
