Wow! What an experience! I’ve never been more embarrassed in my life before! I made an online booking for dinner at 5.30pm on Saturday and requested an outside table. When I got there, I was asked to sit inside as the outside table is only for a bigger group which is understandable. When I got there the restaurant was pretty much empty but even then no one came to my table to ask if I needed anything to drink etc. So after 15 mins, I poured my own wine and asked a waitress for some water. Then the very unfriendly owner came and asked me what time my friends were coming as my table was booked only for 2 hrs. I told her that I wasn’t aware of it to which she said it says it on their website. I told her that I had to failed to read it and my friends wouldn’t be happy with me as they wanted to relax because we’re catching up after a couple of years. To which again she said sternly, it mentions very clearly on our website! I apologised and asked her if we could stay there a bit longer but she said the restaurant was fully booked and we had to vacate the table at 7.30pm. The last two of my friends arrived around 6.30 and after the initial greeting, we decided to order some entrée. I had to apologise again to my friends that we only had less than hour at that restaurant. The elderly guy who took our order asked us what we were having for main. We said we simply didn’t have enough time to order the main and eat it as it was already 6.45 by then. When he went to place the order, the rude owner came to our table and pretty much shouted at us saying you can’t do that guys, you can’t occupy the table for 2 hours and just order an entrée. She said she had to turn away more than 50 people! I found that very hard to believe as there were many empty tables available before 7pm. Only after 7, more patrons started showing up and we were supposed to vacate ours by 7.30 anyway. When we tried to explain to her that we simply didn’t have enough time to eat, she said it’s not her problem that we came late and we should either order the main or leave! Needless to say, we paid for our corkage which is $5pp and left! We were all so embarrassed for being kicked out of the restaurant while all the other patrons were looking at us. To me it looks like a family owned business (wife, husband, daughter, father or father-in-law) hence they don’t seem to care much. I looked at a lovely waitress who’s not part of the family and tried to explain to her that we would’ve loved to order the main if we had more time and we didn’t want to shove the food down our throat and leave in a hurry. She asked me not to worry about it and smiled again. Wish the owners were as...

Came here as it was the top restaurant listed in Parramatta on Trip Advisor at 8pm on a Tuesday night. The overall experience did not live up to its hype, and was judged as a family owned and operated restaurant.
Not sure if it was understaffed as it was pretty packed, but we never actually got the menu and had to look it up on our phones. We were half a mind to go up to the counter to order as we had not been tended to for 30 minutes after seating. We realised we won't be looked after unless we really try and flag down staff members to order, get water and get dessert, even though you are paying proper restaurant prices.
Food arrived from 45 minutes into a timed 90 minute seating. Cheese entree was expectantly heavy, but too heavy on its own and would be better served with a side of bread to balance. It was too much of a service hassle and time to order it separately. Octopus was worth every bite. Nicely done, soft and tangy, and something I would recommend trying. Lamb shoulder had a really dry outer edge, the type to make your teeth gnash against each other. Better toward the bone that ultimately saved it to a four star, but I wouldn't order it again- not particularly outstanding nor memorable for the price. dessert really saved the entire experience- not too sweet but memorable and would come back for the desserts.
Be prepared to shout if seated indoors as the bare walls are quite bouncy. My partner couldn't hear me despite...
Read moreThis place is amazing! I found out it's been there for 24 years, so that pretty much tells you It's Good! We ordered the set menu, (photos are serving size for two people)... Starting with bread and dips with Greek salad, calamari rings, zucchini flowers (stuffed) with a side of cooked haloumi cheese, souvlaki, and slow cooked lamb shoulder.... Every dish was amazing with plenty of flavour. We had never tried Greek before and it did not disappoint! Would go back here time and time again. Do yourself a favour, book ahead, we rocked up earlywith no booking and there was only 1 table left. Seating is a little cramped, but you only notice it initially, once you're seated, looked after by very switched on staff who are super friendly and the atmosphere grabs you, you don't even notice it, as it becomes your slice of the world for that moment. I tried Mythos Greek beer for the first time, which was also nice, but plenty of other drinks are available. There is seating outside with heaters, which really do warm everything, so the cold will not be a problem. There are a couple of stairs into the inside, butoutside would be wheelchair or wheelie walker friendly (just mention it upon booking). Not sure about toilets as I did not need one. Go and enjoy, you will Not be disappointed... Pricing was a little on the high side, but regardless of what the photos look like, you do get plenty of food! We couldn't finish all the food on...
