L’Americano Espresso Bar — Restaurant in Sydney

The restaurant boasts an exquisite design that is both aesthetically pleasing and modern. However, there are a few areas for improvement that are worth noting.

Firstly, the quality of the food did not meet the high standard that is expected from a restaurant of this caliber, especially considering the price point. Either an increase in the quality of the dishes or a decrease in price would be a welcome change.

Secondly, the service provided during my visit was subpar. As someone who values respect and courtesy, I was disappointed by the lack of attention and professionalism displayed by my server. When I politely requested assistance with the menu, she responded in a dismissive manner, without even making eye contact. This type of behavior is unacceptable in any setting, let alone a restaurant where customer service should be a top priority.

Despite these issues, I am willing to give the restaurant another chance and hope to experience a significant improvement in both the quality of the food and level of service. If this is the case, I will be sure to update my review...

This is a good looking and well presented place. However we ran into some issues that marred out time there. First of all the waitress did not know that the special I chose was unavailable. They also had to check several times about the Chicken Caesar Salad and were unable to easily get an answer to a simple question about it.

The Gnocchi was adequate but the cheese (described as grated) manifested as five small clumps which were impossible to adequately share with each mouthful, and the sauce was rather bitter and seemed more like straightforward thick passata. The Aperol Cannoli was nice but rather bland.

Finally, we were seated next to the meal-prep are which is open in the middle of the seating area. Unfortunately for the entire time we were exposed to the odors of the kitchen which in this case were not pleasant and caused some respiratory distress.

Today is our eighth trip to this amazing cafe , that we stumbled upon by accident while looking at the Co Co republic furniture shop so now we travel all the way from Wollongong just to taste the exquisite food and be served by the outstanding staff .Attention to detail is so evident from the serviettes to the gorgeous coffee cups ,smiling attentive staff and the yummiest food ever . We booked a table for my dads birthday lunch , and on arrival they had given us a lovely table with balloons happily accepted that we bought in a birthday cake and then came out with the cake fully decorated beautifully with all the staff and manager singing to my dad ,it really made his day .
