This place has emerged as something different. No, not Beyoncé vs Taylor different...actually different. The service is as ground down as curry spices. Seriously, sometimes it makes me cry that they can't see the joy in helping people, who in turn help them. Except on public holidays; when a lady comes in that is the epitome of great service culture. The meals are twists on the south American experience, with dollops of incongruence from other parts of the world. The standard brekkie stuff is there too, but with twists and quality. The coffee is among the best you'll ever have. Wish they had grain toast, but the rest is A+.

Stumbled across this place and so grateful we did - it's a gorgeous little Venezuelan place specialising in arepas. We had the barramundi empanadas and a vegetarian scrambled eggs arepa. Sounds like a funny mix but it works and it works so well we ordered a second serve of the empanadas. Loads of people buzzing around, with the South American music in the background it's definitely a place we'll return to later this week. Yummy!

I’ve been here before for coffee (which is always amazing) but today I decided to stop for lunch. I have to say from the service to the food, it was a throughly enjoyable experience. One thing that stood out was how different the menu is from other standard cafes, and at first I was like, “I want the standard brunch lunch food”, but I believe it’s this difference which makes this cafe amazing! Thanks for a great lunch!

Great food and coffee, and the waitstaff are always friendly and welcoming. However, there's a noticeable issue with one of the managers who seems upset with customers opening laptops, even while purchasing food and drinks.

Even if two people spend over $40 within half an hour, you're kindly (or not) asked to move to a crowded shared table as soon as you finish your plate, despite other high tables being available. This leads to confusion, as by shuffling people around, the same manager also seems to lose track of who has paid (we always ordered and paid at the counter).

Disappointing given the quality of the food, coffee, and general atmosphere. It might be helpful to add a "No laptops, please" and "Use the shared table under $100 or 4 people" sign to clarify expectations.

Bonus for the Barista/other Manager that followed me to kindly remind me that my job wasn't more important than his and that he was 25 years older - that's great to know and didn't sound passive...

Appalling service! until today, I have enjoyed frequenting this cafe for a place to soak in the iconic Bondi atmosphere, however I was abruptly given the bill upon a plate as a hint to leave when I wasn’t ready to. Apparently when I asked why , I got a lecture about how running a business is hard/wknd being busy, if it was down to money! I could have happily ordered the entire menu if it meant that I could be left in peace in my tiny corner of the communal table. Customers should be given the right to stay as long as they like within opening hours as long as the coffee/food is flowing and you don’t take the piss! Instead, It felt like a personal attack! It is quite frankly very off putting to be pushed out of a cafe simply because they want new faces at their over priced tables! They have a lost a loyal customer and gained a...

Hands down my favourite local cafe in Bondi! 🥳🌈 I’m here so often that I feel like part of the furniture, not to mention the furniture here is pretty dope and tasteful, just like their food and coffee. ❤️🤤If you’re after a breakfast that’s more than the usual bacon and eggs, try their unique South American take on almost everything on their menu. I love the Perico breakfast arepa myself with both avocado and grilled cheese. 💁‍♂️🙋‍♀️And if you’re lucky you get to meet the legends who are in front of and behind the counter making all sorts of magic, Meaghan, Alon and Roberto! Thank you guys for spoiling me every time!...
