Greek salad was super fresh and the tastiest Iâve had (if watching the KJs, this wonât be the most helpful as itâs full of delicious feta). The gravy has a unique seasoning giving it a homely flavour making it incredibly moreish. Chips were also excellent. Quarter roast chicken itself was a generous piece but nothing particularly special: it was perfectly good but not juicy enough to say itâs the best roast chicken Iâve ever eaten. The price is low compared to the obvious quality of the food produced. The food is better than any high end restaurant within the same category (Nandoâs doesnât even come close in comparison). The menu needs work as it needs to be studied for some time to understand whatâs on offer and what the best value items are. A bold but welcome move to locate in Caringbah as opposed to usual Cronulla or Miranda hubs, especially opposite another great chicken restaurant. Especially love the posters explaining the history of the area. If the standard of food and service remains as high as today, this is a new brand that will see successful expansion...

The young lady at the counter understood and said something along the lines of "I'm so sorry, we get that alot etc etc." Not her fault of course. I was about to pay with card but then decided no, I'll take my business to the kebab shop next door, who took the cash immediately. This business is legally entitled to not take cash (even though it's legal tender and I think accepting it should be mandatory), but it's also my right as a consumer to go elsewhere. I am sick of this cashless society being constantly shoved down our throats. Card payments also have a surcharge. A real shame as the food looks good.
Edit: this was about 2 months ago and the owners just responded that they now take cash from Novemeber 1. My apologies I was not aware this had changed. I will try the food the next time I'm heading past and...

The burger was $10, but cold. The flavours pushed it soundly into âworth itâ territory. The grilled chicken breast in my burger was juicy and delicious. The cheese was inoffensive, yet added something to the burger at the same time. The lettuce was unremarkable in taste but delightful in texture. The sauce was tangy and flavourful, and absolutely delicious. The buns were there too.
Would I come back at full price? Yes. This first entry was promising, and Iâd love to try their wraps, mac and cheese, and power bowl options. Also curious about chips, chicken tenders, and gravy. There was a wait, I wonât lie. But again, worthwhile in my eyes.
I think this is a spot that will appeal to a lot of university of Sydney students and RPA staff and visitors. The store might benefit from doing some sort of exclusive loyalty program/discount for them.
Overall, you should...
