Just finished my university exams, was feeling a cheeky maccas run and grab myself some nuggets to lighten up my day. Eager to munch on those crispy golden McNuggets, I quickly hopped into my motor vehicle and rushed towards the Golden Arches located at St Peters. Having had good history from ordering at this establishment, I already knew that my hunger would be quenched. I arrived at the drive-thru, complying to the health advice, wearing my mask and keeping a reasonable distance, I was met by a polite lady on the other side of the speaker. I read out my order, 24 McNuggets, 2 sweet n sour sauce, 1 tartare sauce and 1 big mac sauce, with an additional large double quarter pounder meal with coke zero. I had to wait at the waiting bay, and I knew this would be a good sign, they don't have enough stock and cooking my food fresh. With each passing moment, my hunger increased and I began to lose my sanity, but then the lady appeared through the doorway and handed me my meal.
I consumed my fries on the way home, destroying at least half of the box and I realized I should save some for later. Upon arriving home, I eagerly unboxed my package and opened up the box of nuggets, ready to dip into the famous Maccas Sweet n Sour sauce, only to be met with a singular solo tub of half-filled tartare sauce. Upon diving deeper into the paper bag, I came to the realization that they have forgotten 2 sweet and sour sauces and 1 big mac sauce. Enraged, as I should be i stubbornly consumed my McNuggets with out the aid of the famous sweet and tangy sauce that was most likely milked from Ronald McDonald himself. I finished my meal, not satisfied due to the mishap that has occurred. I am not sure if I will ever dine at this establishment ever again. I much recommend the McDonald's that is located in the newly renovated Marrickville Metro as they provide excellent service in conjunction with high quality foods, that would most certainly not forget my sauce. I am now willing to travel the extra distance and pay the extra petrol to put my mind at ease, knowing that my cravings will be satisfied without a doubt at the Marrickville...
Read moreHonestly, I genuinely don’t know how hard it is for them to make a coffee. I ordered a completely normal soy latte with two extra shots in it. Ordered through the app through drive-through. I received something that resembled hot milk, couldn’t taste any coffee in it, but I could taste that it wasn’t soy milk. I dropped my car off to be serviced and walked back, where I stood at the counter for 10 minutes whilst the woman completely ignored me. Eventually, she asked me what I wanted and I told her my coffee was wrong, and told her what it should’ve been.
They made me another one, I sat down inside and waited for it to cool. When I took a sip of it, I realised that it was now a chai latte.
I sat there for about 15 minutes thinking what on earth do I do? How could they make the mistake twice? I then eventually saw somebody who was wearing a black shirt so I assumed he was a manager. I went up to him and explained to him that this was the second coffee I’d had and both of them were wrong.
I showed him the app from where I ordered and he explained to the person making the coffee what I had asked for. She made me another one. Of course I was not offered in apology. I wasn’t told anything remotely nice. They just kind of shrugged at me as if it was my fault that I was complaining that they made me the coffee wrong twice.
At this point, I was very reluctant to take a sip as it felt very hot through the cup. I waited for it to cool and I took a sip only to realise that it was not soy milk. They’d gotten the shots of coffee correct, this time it was strong enough, but it was the wrong milk. Too bad if I had a serious intolerance to milk or anything…
Threw it in the bin on my way out, and it will be a cold day in hell when I buy another coffee...
Read moreI came inside to make an Uber delivery and the first attendant said 2 minutes and no one came for 10 minutes. Then, after I insisted on calling, the second attendant came and said someone was preparing it and sent me away. No one is helping and it was just a matter of sending me away. Then the person I assumed was the supervisor in the blue shirt called out "2 minutes" and still no one came. The process I mentioned takes 30 minutes or longer. Then I went to the cash register and said, "You say 2 minutes but no one answers, I've been waiting for 30 minutes" and the person in the blue shirt told me not to wait because she didn't have time to prepare the product. Now I have a few questions . If you are not going to prepare the food for uber customer, why did you waste my 30 minutes? Have you ever worked there for 30 minutes for free for Macca? How do we keep such a low profile in your eyes that our time seems like nothing to you and what's more, it's 9 o'clock in the evening in the coldest rainy weather of recent times! and while you are laughing and chatting with the team inside, not one of the 6-7 people prepares the food for the customer waiting for food at home. Is the person who orders from Uber less valuable to you than the customers there? Next time, I hope you will act professionally and adjust your tone of voice with the politeness of a manager, knowing how disrespectful it is to make someone wait half an hour in freezing weather for a product that you will not...
