Moo Gourmet Burgers Manly — Restaurant in Sydney

I visited this restaurant with my family hoping for a great food experience due to what seemed to be great pricing, but unfortunately it was far from that. Immediately, we realised that the restaurant was run down and shabby. While the view of the water was amazing, a portion of the food service was not. We had ordered and the food came out quickly. The portion sizing of the chips was a joke. There were only 10 chips in total on my father’s plate with a burger. He complained to the owner about the lack of potato chips, whom compensated him with a tiny hot sauce and walked off. We asked him for a side of potato chips and he returned nine minutes later with a side of sweet potato chips. Obviously we were unhappy with them and asked him for a side of potato chips instead. This man was extremely reluctant to do anything but argue with my father about it, and he just charged us for normal potato chips instead of the sweet potato chips. He could have easily just taken back the sweet potato chips and fried a batch of potato chips. They sat on the table untouched and when we tried to pay, we had to stand at the front desk for ages before anyone bothered to come serve us. This place was terrible we were the only people there and the food took ages to come out! chip size with our burgers wouldn’t have fed an ant so we ordered extra chips after we complained about the abysmal sizes and then they brought out sweet potato chips which we detest and I said I ordered normal chips which he in turned argued with me in front of my family saying that’s what I ordered and wouldn’t replace them I was in shock ??? The sweet potato chips in turn sat there untouched so you know what the waiter did ? Took $1 off my bill and apologised - you for real !!! Never going back to this joke of a place ever and have told everyone we know about our experience surprised the place is still in business - shocking place terrible

Adding to this abysmal review the Restaurant unsurprisingly replied back saying "sorry we had no such feedback from the their staff with the incident" - WOW! way to go Managemen! very professional - You just worsened the experience tenfold!! And again this will be relayed...

Came here for a birthday. had a booking for outside and instead they put us on a table inside — a table which still had dirty items on it from a previous group. They kindly sorted a table for outside which was nice. We asked for bubbles glasses, but the bubbles was warm as they didn’t have an ice bath for it when it was 30+ degrees. Ordered sweet potato chips, got normal chips instead, however they brought out sweet potato ones eventually. We had a cake, and they brought it out but didn’t bring plates or forks. Kids had free ice cream with their meals, took a very long time to come out and brought them out with the wrong toppings. Was embarrassing having to go back to talk to them constantly due to mistakes. Don’t get me wrong, the food was delish. However I work in hospitality and could tell they were understaffed and the service was abysmal. We’ve come to Moo for the last decade and it’s definitely gone...
