From the Upper Hunter and spent the weekend in Sydney. After a show in Marrickville Saturday night we googled kebabs and thought ok this one in Newtown sounds OK, it wasn't Mr Yeeros. But when we got there we were on opposite side of road, went past and not a single customer, to turn around we had to go past Mr Yeeros. Placed was packed, inside and out so we automatically knew this was the place to be. Honestly the best yeeros I have ever had and have had 40 years experience with too many major disappointments. The fresh warm bread, melts in your mouth. Mixed salad lettuce not shredded iceberg. That organic that after the Enmore last night we were back for another. The older gentleman remembered us and knew our order. Wow after the hundreds of customers he had Sat night that's amazing. So now I am never ever having a 3rd rate pretend kebab with cardboard bread again. I will just save it until the next trip to Sydney. Big thumbs up to...

Read moreI came here with pretty high expectations as the reviews were strong. This was one of the best, most delicious lamb gyros that I had ever eaten. The whole experience filled me with such transcendental pleasure, from making my order, watching the staff prepare the flatbread, to the consumption of the gyros, to letting the gyros sit in my stomach all night, to my final trip to the bathroom before tucking myself into bed.
