New Fortune Palace — Restaurant in Sydney

The woman who took my order would have had to of been the rudest person I ever met. She didn't ever look at me and said, "What do you want?" I asked for honey scallops, please, response we don't serve to expensive ok then I'll have honey prawns. What else, she said, so I continued the order when I was done, I was told you can have a free thing as I'd not been there before I asked what there was she rattled off the item's and I chose while all of this was happening she took 3 phone call spoke to 2 work colleagues and yelled at someone like me a paying customer didn't even exist and me been there was a disruption after I payed I was told to sit down to wait so I left the couter and moved to look at the seating area were very abruptly was told that was for better customers and I was not to go there and pointing to the place were the take away people had to sit. I said loudly your very rude and the response was" sit over there. " In shock I waited for the food and went home to eat were within 20 minutes of eating it I was so sick, and so were my family I will never return, and I hope nobody goes there. They need to understand that we the customer are there wage so we should be treated with a little bit of manners maybe hello how can I help you and that all food should be fresh and handled properly so people don't spend the night over a toilet bowl regretting...

Where do I start. Upon arrival, seats at table at least 4 ripped and chunks of seat missing. Not greeted by owners/staff and very grumpy angry staff. Menus very worn with greasy finger stains on them. Food did not come out quickly. Waitress taking orders kept stopping to go answer the phone. We booked in advance so should have been appropriately staffed so she could take our orders then waitress got frustrated with us asking her questions re the banquet. Childrens food came quick but we had to wait an hour for our mains for adults and no other big groups in restaurant. 2- 3 other couples. Seems take away orders took priority over us and understaffed. We were in the restaurant for 2.5 hours and we didnt get our tea or coffee offered to us that was part of the banquet. They also tried to charge us for extra head on banquet for their error until we aruged it was not our fault. Also, birthday cake gave us plastic plates to use instead of washable plates and knives. Save yourself from the curry puffs. It is the only options for vegetarians. Came here for a farewell at 6pm and by 8pm we only received the entrees. The lazy susan is sticky and the wine menu is stuck to it. I can only assume this is so the plates do not fly off due to centrifugal force. Meals arrived at 8.25 and they are so salty you can barely eat them. The unlucky vegetarians in the group were confronted with the boiled rice in the picture and told you have extra so you don't complain. The pork was laced with boar taint. The beef, well we thought it was beef, was gelatinous and you did not need teeth to eat it. The duck tasted like pork to some but at least we thought it was castrated.
