New St Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

So this place is seeking day old croissants, passing them off as fresh. Clearly not caring about the quality of food. When I sought a refund for my disgusting rubbery stale croissant the poor staff member was apologetic and told me the decision to sell day old food was "not my call" - they're admitting this is what they do but she has no say in it. Which I completely believe as I heard the manager speaking to her, and her manner explains why there's never the same staff member there for very long. So, manager is selling old food, manager is nasty speaking to their staff, staff are leaving on a regular basis. Will look forward to my $8.10 refund next month as they also refuse to process an eftpos refund over the phone (also heard the manager telling poor staff member - "just tell her we can't do it".) Manager also couldn't be bothered dealing with me directly even though she was right next to the phone, making her staff member deal with it. ...

Awesome cafe! Hadn’t been back for a while but it’s even better. Coffee was always good but they have managed to get the food back up to a great standard. Lived the Italian scrambled eggs. Great ready made sandwiches for lunch & lived the healthy, home cooked options like stuffed tomatoes or aubergine. Also delicious pastries. I should come more often....

Grabbed some takeaway Coffees today Xshot ordered and paid for but unfortunately all I got was extra milk and water added. It's becoming very common issue with cafes lately a real big disappointment as we have busy work schedules and simply can't comeback and waste time chasing a replacement! Also the coffee is a little pricey...
