Nook Clearance Cafe is a charming little cafe in Sydney's CBD. The interior is decorated in a warm and inviting style, with exposed brick walls and wooden furniture. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious.

The menu features a variety of international dishes, including breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, and pasta dishes. There is also a selection of coffees, teas, and smoothies. I tried the Grilled Halumi Panini, The Halumi was perfectly grilled and served with a generous amount of vegetables and sauce. The coffee was also excellent, and I enjoyed the fact that they use locally roasted beans.

For Smashed Avocado Toast,

The avocado was just a spread on toast. We felt that the amount of avocado was not generous, given the price of the dish. We would have appreciated a larger serving of avocado.

Overall, I would give Nook Clearance Cafe a 4 out of 5 stars. It is a great place to go for a casual meal or a coffee break. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to eat in Sydney.

Note: It is located in front of Wynyard station...

Today I ordered ‘grilled haloumi stack’ with $5 for a pice of smoked salmon through Hey You app. Hey you charged me $21.42 for that ($16 for the dish and $5 for the salmon extra). However, Nook didn’t put salmon and I had to go back and show the kitchen that they didn’t complete my order. They argued that it’s not their fault and I have to pay another $5 if I want salmon. Their young manager is absolutely incapable of handling customer complaints and resolving such situations. So I was left with no breakfast at all as kitchen taken my box back. This is the worst experience ever and I won’t go back! (By the way it was not the first time when Nook would not complete order or completely forget about it). I recommend the owner of this cafe to pay closer attention to the kitchen and train staff to handle customer complaints and be aware of Hey You specifics if signing up to make orders via app. Leaving a customer with no food and charged for $21.42 is absolutely...

Came in for lunch and got the schnitzel, club sandwich and smoked trout stack. All dishes were pretty tasty and well presented. The schnitzel had a light herb crumb which was nice and it wasn’t thin nor dry which was great. The smoked trout stack was fantastic and so was the club sandwich. My only recommendation is the gravy accompanying the schnitzel could be double the portion (felt like it was two dips worth and considering the schnitzel was quite large it just needed more). Kill the mayo and replace it with gravy IMO 😅. Smoothies were quite nice also albiet a smidgen warm. Customer service was great, very friendly and efficient. Location wise it’s opposite the Wynyard train station Clarence street exit so very convenient to locate. Plenty of seating outdoors and indoors. Menu items were very affordable considering...

Breakfast combos 11/10 !!!! Staying next door at The Little National and it’s right across the road. Stumbled upon it on my way to another cafe but decided to go here, best decision! Update: went back every morning 4 days in a row! $12 gets you a phenomenal bacon and egg sandwich and coffee of your choice. Not to mention gluten free bread and an extra espresso shot anddd oat milk…fantastic price. Bacon and egg had two eggs in it, loads of bacon, rocket, and a relish + Mayo. Most places serve a sad single egg and bacon so the bar has been set here!! The quinoa Porridge is a must try, the most beautiful presentation ever. They had dried figs, berries, roasted coconut, and even made it with macadamia milk for me. ($14 combo with a coffee). Also yummy açai smoothie! Speedy service and lovely staff. Will definitely be back 🥰
