Rubbish service and not honest.

There are other pizza parlours in walking distance or a short drive. Go to one of them, the food is of equal or better quality and my experience is these keep thier word or compensate you for thier failure to do so.

Have eat there several times and ordered takeaway on two occasions. So have experienced the service when it is busy and when quiet. The food is average not out of this world but the killer is the failure to deliver on their promises. The arrogant attitude of the staff when they don't deliver is just disgusting. The excuse of being busy is flippantly provided with the attitude that you (the customer) should already know this and allowed for it in your expectations.

Placed a take.away order and told it would be ready to pick up in 35min. It was ready and hour after the order was placed, even though we turned up and paid for it at the appointed time. We spent 25min standing on the street after being advised it would only be 10min more than the original 35min. We ordered two small pizzas. No truth in anything they told us, none what so ever.

To top it off the order was not delivered correctly with toppings missing. Took photos of the finished pizzas to prove this. Seriously considering a formal complaint to the local chamber of commerce, the NSW Consumer Affairs etc.

Told the manger I will never be back and I, unlike her, am honest and will NEVER be back again.

Reading through other reviews I see others have had similar poor service...and the staffs excuse is being busy....after the complaint. Being busy is no excuse for failing to meet the deliver time frame the staff set for themselves at the time the order is placed. They know how busy they are and how much longer to allow for in the delivery time frames they state. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL TO BE SO UNRELIABLE.

This is not the first time we have had poor service from this restaurant. It will be the last!!!!!

The positive posts on google must be by staff or management. Considering the way they stretched the truth on times for completing orders when we have been there, only staff would provide a positive post.

As a local I am ashamed of the image this business gives the tourists that visit our region. A blight on every other business...

This is where self respect come to die..

My friend and I have decided to give this place a go on a weekend getaway in the blue mountains, purely because they were the only place serving food past 8:30 in this magic town of Katoomba.

They seemed understuffed and just, angry. We have waited 15 minutes to get menus, I’ve got them myself, which is fine if the restaurant is busy. I have asked for two glasses and a ice bucket for for the rose that I have brought in.. they said they would get me one when they have clean ones, took about 15 mins and they had no ice buckets..

When I wanted to order, after about 30mins, I was told to order inside. This is a crucial step to mention to customers when they are waiting for 30+ mins.

Here is the kicker of the night;

I went inside place an order with a middle aged brunette lady, who looked like one of the owners. I have ordered one serving of bruschetta and capricciosa pizza. I am not a fan of ham so I asked if I could replace the ham with pepperoni instead. I was advised that they can not “swap” but I can add it on for $4. I obviously found this annoying and made a comment about it and said “ sounds fair” whilst pulling out my card to pay $44 for the two items. Whilst she was getting the eftpos machine out I asked if I could order a supreme instead and take out everything until I was left with the 4 simple ingredients of the capricciosa, minus the ham. I’m only playing by their rules. She went into the kitchen and came back out and said;

“ I won’t charge you for the corkage fee and the pepperoni , just stop being a W^NKER”

This, here, ladies and gentleman, an attitude of a restaurant owner who wouldn’t exist a day in anywhere else Sydney and only open and functioning because there is no other place to eat after 9pm.

If you have any self...

Food is fantastic. We have come to this restaurant many times. Not impressed at all with the service we received this weekend though. Walked in on a Saturday night for dinner. Was told there was a wait however was also told that there are three people in front of us and when asked how long the wait was approximately she very rudely replied ‘I’m not sure ... I haven’t been counting the minutes guests are eating and leaving’. Very rude! Not sure what her name was but she wears glasses. Just from her attitude we decided to go somewhere else for the night. As my husband is a big fan of the restaurant, we ended going for a Sunday lunch to which there was a table. However another incident occurred where this very same waitress put through the wrong order for my son’s food and when it came out incorrect ... did not bother apologising for the mistake. However preceded to blame me that it was my fault as she had read back my order and I should have said something then. Not an apology in sight just a bad attitude and also preceded to tell me if I want that specific order I can pay for another plate!! WOW Obviously she hasn’t learnt the grand old lesson in retail and the hospitality industry of ... ‘the customer is always right’. Definitely hope the management of this restaurant read this review and address this waitress’ attitude. Otherwise, I’m sure I am not the only one who has received this kind of service and won’t...

Ate dinner here and it was simply amazing, I really wish I could give them more stars! Quiet or busy, their attitude was lovely and everyone was welcomed from the second they walked in the door. I chose them for their gluten free options, and as soon as I mentioned gluten free I was asked if I was coeliac (which I’m not, but am gluten intolerant). They make their gluten free dough for the pizzas on site, so you can actually choose the size of your pizza!! As I’m not coeliac I didn’t enquire about cross contamination measures, but I did hear the girl taking orders loudly shout out ‘coeliac on table 6’ for someone else who was dining there, and she also told me her sister is coeliac so she is fully aware of all requirements. I have a coeliac sister and niece myself and would have no hesitation in taking them to this wonderful restaurant!! I only wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often!

Came here on an unplanned trip to the Blue mountains and the family agreed on Italian food with Papadinos coming in recommended by a few locals we spoke to. From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent by the young ladies at the counter. They were great with the kids and gave them some pizza dough, plastic matts and rolling pins to keep the kids entertained while we waited for our food. Nice and warm inside with the heaters turned on and the pizza oven cranking. The smell from the kitchen was amazing. The pasta we ordered was on point, the margarita pizza spent a little too long in the oven and came out slightly burnt which the kids did not enjoy, but the young lady looking after a table happily took it away and at our request changed it for another serving of pasta. All in all we had a great experience and will definately be back!
