wish I could see more real comments before I dine in there so that I could save my beautiful night and had a pleasant meal somewhere else.
Food portion is quite “stingy”, few broken rice noodle swimming on oily and weird flavor + starch based sauce as pic shown. definitely worst noodles I ever had in any Asia/South Asia restaurant( including those Westfield level 1 food court noodle box). let alone compare with the noodles I had in Malaysia/Hongkong/vietnam, even not comparable to local street food. Well as I seen how owner replied another customers about their Mini portion Roti, “it is Papparich Standard portion”, fine 🙃Pappa getting 💰rich by saving on noodles and roti 👌, still post it here cuz wanna every potential customer acknowledges papparich’s standard and high tea level mini portion before dine in there.
Chicken skin is quite bad as well, eat few and don’t want more, normally I don’t waste food but I did this time, cuz don’t wanna throw out my breakky. Unfortunately too late seen other comments already mentioned about poor quality fried chicken skin. Tastes like chef made oil out of chicken skin, and then dump the greasy, dried-up scraps straight onto my plate. Buy few kfc chicken wing and eat leftover crumbs in box even taste better than this.
Service is quite match food quality and quantity, a male server has unpleasant body smell, while he stay near me, I felt I had the 3rd dish. don’t wanna be discriminated against natural body smell but perfume is not too expensive to keep fresh.
Owner should spend more time on improve food quality / Standard and quantity not on defending itself and finding excuses to answer customers‘a negative feedback. However, what can i say it is actually matched their food quality and service quality, typing online is easy but obviously improve food quality/ cooking skill/ add few piece noodles or half piece roti it is so pricey for a Pappa desperate wanna be rich.
Highly recommend who is rich and wanna lose weight to...
Read moreN28: pappa beef noodle soup NO1: curry laksa chicken N12: Ipoh kuay teow soup with prawn and chicken
Not worth the $54.50 Soups were bland tasted like water
Staffs aren't attentive Kitchen staffs were stingy (Chicken Laksa only had 3 strips of chicken).
Ipoh kuay teow soup had only 3 strips of chicken and 3 HALF PRAWNS Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!! NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!
Pappa beef noodle soup - portions could be more, PRICE WISE, soup needs more flavour, ridiculous small amount of noodles For the portion given to me, WAY OVER PRICED. And the beef was dry. It had a rough texture. Wasn't tender at all
Burwood's Rickshaw gives more portions and charging around the same price, on a larger bowl too!!! Their soups are flavoursome!!
Viet noodle soups anywhere charges between $8.50 - $15, and they fill it up with large portions at a much cheaper price.
Overall, for this pappa rich, I had never experienced such a disappointment that each dish needed more portions.
Pappa rich was alot better before.
Been there few times at Parramatta, been to bankstown as well
Both flavour-less Never going to PappaRich again It was so much better when they first started.until a year later they've gotten lazy with their work Therefore, also causing the food's missing "wow" factor. Staffs need to improve customer service. Today, an Asian waitress seemed to be the nicest out of all. The other staffs were terrible.
Very disappointed.
ADVICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS: GO TO A DIFFERENT MALAYSIAN RESTAURANT OTHER THAN PAPPA RICH. TRY SOMEWHERE DIFFERENT AND...
Read moreI can't comment on the food but a big F for service. It's quite new in this location so very busy at lunchtime, especially as they don't take reservations. We went for a work lunch and had to wait. They had a bizarre system of issuing raffle tickets to those waiting to reserve their place in the queue - appropriate as it was quite a raffle to be allocated a seat. A group of the same number of people as us, who arrived 2 or 3 groups after us, were seated before us. When we complained the service staff could not understand enough English to understand what we were saying. On top of that, they were asking the people standing out on the street to place their orders, so they could cook their orders before they were even given a table and shove them through more quickly. We gave up after half an hour and went somewhere else where we had a nice lunch in much nicer atmosphere and with better service. Which is probably just as well, as after looking through the menu, I couldn't see a single thing I would want to order from PappaRich. I'm a vegetarian and although they had a vegetarian section it was full of things like "Vegetarian baked cod" or "Vegetarian chicken" which suggests either they don't know what vegetarian means, or it was made of that horrible rubbery seitan (a meat substitute made of gluten flour). I certainly won't be giving it a...
