Read moreDisappointing. I have been shopping with Woolworth for ages but shocked by what happened today. The issue itself is not a big problem, but the attitude is the worst and it was beyond my imagination. I was charge a few dollars more, I thought it shall not a big deal and it happened with all other supermarkets and can be fixes very easily. But when I talk to the customer service staff about it, they simply told me there's anything they can do, even without any explaination or a simple "sorry", I was shocked by their cold attitude, I thought it was not a big fault at all and I believe it's not hard for woolies to try help consumers. Don't care about the few dollars but keen to share this experience. A few dollars is not a big deal buy I was not 100% happy to take this attitude and I ask if I can at least return it, during the process, I maintained a nice attitude but one more thing happened that my card of payment seemed not working, I was not too worried but she again simplly told me it doesn't work, change a card, I guess you can imagine the tone. But again we all know we have to use the card that we paid for the items for the refund, I ask if there's any other options we can do, maybe a store credit and I am happy to take. Guess what, I got even a worse attitude with the answer of it just didn't work, even after my explanation. I don't know what to do and asked if anyone can help me here, when I get a few of other customers around me, she took the card and I was not sure if she help operate something, but anyway, it worked. Hope she doesn't represent Woolworth but I believe the other customers who were around heard what happened and felt very disappointed at her attitude too. I was there at around 8pm just in case the store manager is...
Read moreStaff are rude, indifferent, do not show every day Australians or any customers any respect and even feign offence when paying compliments. Staff appear to be scanning and scrutinising every customer to look for reasons for them to be kicked out and police called on. The following recording plays constantly over the PA system âthreatening or behaviour that could be upsetting to others, we will ask you to leave and have the police called on youâ something along those lines. Seems vague as if most employees employed in the store comprise almost entirely of one monoculture and the one lonely âtoken Aussie employeeâ I have experienced staff and the supervisor behave in the most prejudicial and discriminatory behaviour and I am tired of making unheard complaints. If they treated all customers equally with dignity, speaking only in English to a good proficiency, they would have no need to act like counter terrorists or the gatekeepers to food and you get to eat, only if they like you. The place screams student visa violators.
I am not going to be served at a lower standard due to the colour of my skin or my friendly nature or my wardrobe
I gave you two years Woolies to clean up your act-much to my own detriment.
Now I have had no other option to do this and commences lawsuit based on discrimination.
