It is my first time in this cafe and I ordered a regular latte (dine in so I can just sit for a while), and the cashier (or not sure if he is the manager too) asked where I'll be sitting. I pointed at the table in the corner and he said that he'll just bring the coffee there. He didn't ask for a name, probably because he already knew where to bring the coffee. The coffee took quite a while as the cafe is kinda busy. I followed up the coffee after around 15 minutes to the guy who got my order, and mentioned if I can just have the coffee for to-go. I thought the coffee will be served after that. A few minutes later while he was clearing the table beside me, he talked to me again and said "I can't even remember your order. What was the table number or name?" I said none as he just asked where I'll be sitting and that he'll just bring the coffee to my table. I don't think that is the best way to approach your customers if you've lost track of their orders. The cafe seems to be short-staffed, which might be the reason for that but kindly improve your customer service. Your approach seems like you were even doubting if I actually paid for the coffee I was asking for.

Walked in with a smile on my face, ready for a little sweet treat. Got an almond croissant which turned out to be tiny (see pic). Oh well, I thought. I deserve to indulge. I paid by cash and handed over $6. The label said the croissant was $5.8, so I asked why I was being charged $6. Clearly asking this was a huge mistake. The person serving me started to give me a lecture about wages (???) and I was like it’s all good mate I’m not disagreeing with you. He even said that he hates charging customers extra to which I said “hey it’s all good!” But nothing could stop this lecture. Even as he warmed up the croissant (using the microwave) he kept going on about how expensive it is to run a cafe, and the way he was explaining it was condescending - not friendly at all. I feel like I got robbed and scolded at this cafe. I understand running a business is expensive, but it would be worse if you keep driving away customers with random lectures. I was perplexed when I walked out. And no, the croissant was not worth $6. Stay away from this place, they know just how to wipe the smile off your face and speak to you like you’re a toddler.

We started off getting a phone call asking if our group of 17 will be arriving for our 9:30 booking at 9am. Then get there and the tables were all separated and we were expected to sit in 4’s. After a huff and puff we put the tables together. We then got up and ordered our drinks, taking longer than usual to come out. Vanilla thick shake with a shot of coffee, had no vanilla in it. Although the coffee was nice, the execution could have been a lot better. Sporadically our food came out. Toast was all soggy, food was luke warm, eggs were watery, asked for smashed avo on the side and got salmon, mind you we got told “I do this for a living” as in, how could I get this order wrong. The shakshuka came with two tiny pieces of toast and was extremely bland, you are eating rubbery beans. The French toast is extremely eggy as well. All in all I would extremely recommend not coming to this cafe unless you want shocking service and sarcastic responses. Oh, not to also mention, way overpriced. Shame there isn’t an option to put 0 stars.

Just finished a fantastic breakfast here. Highly recommend if you are looking for a gorgeously decorated breakfast spot situated in a perfect setting along parramatta river. It’s a comfortable setting with ample spacing between tables to allow for social distancing. The guy who served us was so friendly and down to earth. He was very straight forward and happy to answer our questions regarding milk products to accommodate my lactose intolerant partner. We had a almond milk mocha and a caramel latte and both were the best coffees we have had in a while. They add a little bit more foam which we all know is one of the best parts of a fresh coffee. They were a generous side for their price. Breakfast was French toast and thick cut bacon. This was delicious. They used a thick cut brioche style bread cut into thick rectangles. These were fluffy on the inside with a nice browning on the outside. Covered in a berry compote and Canadian maple syrup. Most places I find have soggy French toast but they nailed theirs. My partner had their breakfast wrap which he added the beef sausage too. This was perfectly cooked fried eggs with thick cut bacon served toasted and warm. All portion sizes were great. Overall this was great value for money, a nice relaxed setting with tasteful decor and great food and service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good...

Table of 6 for brunch - Firstly, our orders were delivered over 15 minutes, with most of the hot food coming first, and the yogurt cup ($8) coming last, so most of the hot food was pretty cold by then. Some of the other food fell on the table when served so was spooned back on to the plate by the waiter, leaving ice-cream smears across the place. The big breakfast ($23) was served on a used chopping board, with the egg running off the side on to the table. Finished with ordering 4 hot drinks, they forgot one of the orders, which can happen. Location great, food was OK, but service very disappointing, slow food delivery, and forgetting items was really not good enough given the prices. And Owner - before you ask if this is fake review - no, it isn't, and yes, we did ask where our food was, and where our missing drink was.

Owner - having seen your reply below, you seem blind to the opportunities to do better and instead try to have a go at the messenger. We weren't there for 3 hours, and none of the diners said they had a terrific time to ANY of the staff - you just made that up for the google review. I passed on THEIR feedback about your service and food presentation. You really missed a golden...
