Roadhouse Cafe & Restaurant is a new establishment serving brunch, coffee, Korean dishes, and other pub food classics (burgers, grilled fish, etc.). This place is unique in its offering - most Korean eateries have a full Korean menu and Korean Cafes tend to have Korean themed breakfast items. In contrast, at Roadhouse you'll find Korean fried chicken served with classic banchan, and right next to it will be a regular cheeseburger with potato chips without any Korean influence whatsoever. Normally a menu with such contrasting elements tends to suffer in quality on either side but Roadhouse actually does it well. We ordered the Korean fried chicken lunch box plus a classic Cheeseburger. We arrived around 8pm and although the lunch box was time limited, the owner saw our disappointment and made an exception to serve us the lunch box. Both dishes were well done and priced very fairly, perhaps even generously considering the portion sizes were large and the location is premium. We left feeling full and satisfied and commented that the Korean fried chicken serving size was particularly generous - the owner responded that this is what he is aiming for. The dishes were about $15 each and table water was complimentary - $30 to feed a party of 2 in the CBD is an excellent deal. The owner also offered us some Japanese tea on the house - fragrant and refreshing. The decor of the restaurant is very nice - we were not a fan of the red chairs as it gives a fast food feel but the seating was varied (tables and stools) and the restaurant overall feels very pleasant to reside in. Thank you Samuel for feeding us tonight and we wish you the best for your new business.

After the FIFA Fan Festival at Tumbalong Park I was looking for a place to have dinner at, checked online and this one looked good so I decided to make the trip I originally came for their ribs, but they had a large choice of burgers and ended up getting their special one, the "Roadhouse Ozzie Burger": a 200g angus beef patty, bacon, tomato relish, pickle, white onion, lettuce, tomato, beetroot slices, grilled pineapple, fried egg, special burger sauce A quite surprising combination when you're not from Australia, but I actually loved it and would recommend it It came with fries, perfectly fried and tasty, definitely getting the French approval seal As a drink they have not only sodas but also bottle juices, I went for an apple juice, can't go wrong The place is very spacious Staff is welcoming Opens quite late and flexible with hours (I was supposed to be their last order, but 10 minutes later other customers came and were still accepted) Definitely recommended

Had a burger, chips and a drink for dine in. For $25, I'd say it was just ok. I ordered the pulled pork burger, and the taste was just a bit better than OK. The coleslaw was too heavily drowned and soggy, which really dominated the overall taste, so it overpowered the taste of the pork. It was a shame, because tasting the pork on its own, it had a great hint of flavor and spice. The chips were quite tasty and crispy, with a great tangy paprika seasoning, but the serving size was really quite small for a combo with a burger. However, they certainly went down quite easily and would suggest a larger serving. Perhaps it may have just not been a great choice of burger from the menu, as they seem to have a larger variety which may fare better, for next time. Perhaps if you want a quick, salty hit while at uni, it may not be so bad of a stop.

The food is so bloody good and this restaurant has been taking my money on the daily since I arrived here for study abroad in late July. The burgers is juicy and tasty, I never had a true burger like this from a restaurant that can make a well done burger so tender and juicy without it losing flavor or being as known dry. The fries especially when you ask the cashier to make it crispy and extra season is the bomb. The loaded fries is my secret pleasure. Request for extra cheese sauce with the fry hack above and it slaps (meaning good) all day everyday. Buffalo wings are delicious tho tiny which is fine since it's not their focus, but very yummy if ordered. I will be sad when my abroad is over and have to return to the US (Florida) because I will miss something that brings me comfort.

Only thing that would make these continue experiences better if there is student discounts since I go to UTS and love supporting this place but want to save money at the same time. I always do take away since delivery on Door dash is disabled and by the time I get to Yura Mudang, it's still steaming hot and great. The bread is so bloody soft on the burger and even tho I'm not a fan of seeded buns, it's so delicious and makes the burgers. I am delighted in coming here and can't wait to try other food items including the ribs and coffee which I learn last visit that they can make it but it's not listed on the website or as a menu thing.

Thank you to the workers that continue to serve me and other customers, the food and atmosphere is really something I admire and with fast service that doesn't compromise on quality which is hard to find in...

What is this place? It’s not like any roadhouse I’ve ever seen. If Hello Kitty did roadhouses! (there’s kittens on the wall) There’s no brand identity here really, there’s flashing LED string lights as you come in the door, gaudy gold planters and cutsie Parisian motifs on the wall. The menus above the counter on entry make you feel like you’ve walked into any fast food restaurant, this one champions that they’ve got 5 different sauces for the chips (which are delicious btw) I ordered the cheese burger, which came out on the tiniest serving board I’ve ever seen, almost cute. It was tasty for sure, but the meat was a little chewy. The other thing that was terribly small, the napkins, tissues really, the sort you get when you’ve got a little sniffle. Not really suited to mopping up burger grease and globs of sauce. Glad I didn’t order the ribs, I’d look a mess! And the music, kept skipping like it was playing on CDs or something ( surely not, it’s 2023), covers of knocking on heavens door and of other classic rock songs. This place is weird, but good weird? Em, no. Just confused...
