We walked pass this shop so many times since it opened but never had a chance to try it. It was packed and full of people lined up in a long queue. Finally, we had our chance yesterday and decided to give it a go and see if it actually lives up to all the hype as we've witnessed and from social media. We were greeted by a friendly staff and explained to us that we've an hour limit to dine in and also a minimum of one order for 2 people. Immediately we found that shocking to begin with so we went ahead and ordered the following 2 desserts between the 3 of us. The Homm's Taro Bingsu for $24.80 The Salted Egg Coconut Avalanche Bingsu for $26.80 Plus 3 drinks Taro Milk Tea x 2 for ($9 each) $18 Homm's Gelatte for $10.80

Totally it costs us $80.40

Both the Taro Bingsu and the Salted Egg Coconut Avalanche Bingsu were simply overrated. Both desserts were simply ice, a scoop of ice cream and toppings as can be seen in the pictures attached. Not to mentioned the drinks, they were once again pretty average and no wow factor as far as we experienced. The total bill between the 3 of us was so overpriced just for desserts and drinks. Imagine what we can have for lunch/dinner or any other desserts else where with that amount of money. Just can't believe people don't see this. We will never come back again. It's over priced and too much hype that does not live up to its expectation and we're so so...

I decided to try this new Thai dessert place in Sydney since I skipped visiting their Melbourne branch after hearing it wasn’t worth the hype. We didn’t have to queue for long and were greeted by friendly staff, which was a nice start.

We ordered a variety of desserts to sample. The signature Thai Milk Tea Bingsu was a letdown. Instead of the rich, fragrant flavor you expect from good Thai milk tea, all I could taste was milk and sugar. The Mango Coconut Bingsu was another disappointment. The mango was not fresh, and the overall portion size felt quite small given the price they charge.

I accidentally ordered the Corn Bechamel Shokupan instead of the Pandan Coconut one because the photos on the app looked almost identical. Unfortunately, the corn and bechamel combination didn’t work at all. It was overly rich, clashing with buttery, fluffy shokupan rather than complementing it. The flavors became overwhelming quickly, and we didn’t finish it.

After just 30 minutes we were asked to vacate the table, despite having finished quickly and hoping to enjoy a bit of conversation. It felt rushed and unnecessarily abrupt, especially for a dessert spot. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. It feels more like hype than substance, and I don’t think it...

This place is always busy and I finally got to try this place. Even though there was a line by the time we got there, it didn’t take long for us to get a table inside. Though they have limited dining time for one hour only.

We ordered Thai tea avalanche bingsu as it seemed like their signature and inarguably it was the best bingsu I had in Sydney! It was worth every penny of it! The Thai tea gelato was so rich that I craved every bit of it. What I loved the most was the biscuity texture within bingsu. Not only was it not overly sweet, it had got flavorful topping to make it extra delicious. Every bit of it was heaven.

Our bingsu was served quick and we finished it in less than an hour. We could already see the server looking over our table. We didn’t feel comfortable about it as we would like to stay a bit longer to chat. As expected, the server asked if we finished and we had to leave as there was a line waiting out there.

Even though I didn’t quite enjoy the customer service, I still love their dessert. Would love to come back again to try other desserts...
